“Brilliant pub great staff. Coming for many years always made to feel welcome. One of the last real traditional pubs in the country, they keep their beer so well. Food great. A really sociable pub.”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”

“We used them for my Dads wake and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Staff were amazing and even wore purple as that was the funeral theme. Communication from booking right up until the day was superb. Thank you for all your support in helping us give our Dad the best send off.”

“I ordered a pizza and regular fries from Forkys grill. The food was with me within half an hour from ordering and I live a few miles away. The food was great, amazing Pizza and for once from a takeaway the fries were hot by the time they arrived. Very nice chap who delivered the food with a smile. will definitely be ordering from them again :)”

“Took friends here for Sunday lunch, we've never been before and we were very happy with the welcome we all received, even our 2 dogs were welcome. The Sunday lunch was, literally the best pub one we've ever had, plenty on our plates and tasted delicious. The service was also great, a very polite, smiling young lady served us. “Cracking place in an up and coming area of Stockport. Great vibe inside with plenty of seating. Good selection of food on the menu with gluten free option. Cocktails and wine choices. Service was quick, friendly, Wendy was just lovely and made us feel looked after, thank you! Lovely style of decor with art and lighting. Food was great and tasty, well presented. We had the tapas and cocktails. The squid was delicious! Very reasonably priced. Definitely going to return and good start to the evening before walking into the centre for drinks in other bars.”
