“I can't praise the staff enough. After being let down at short notice (again) by another salon; a family friend personally recommended Glowing Salon. They managed to fit my Twin daughters in at short notice (on a Saturday) during a busy holiday season. Both were really happy with the service and styling so two happy daughters in addition to not denting my wallet as bad as other Salons. Will definitely recommend to others and I think my daughters will now be regulars. Thanks again Jola and team”

“With so many options along Liverpool road, this place does seem to stand out in terms of quality. The sauces are really tasty and company the kebabs well. On this occasion, I had a mixed Kebab, and chips, all came quickly and was great value for money for the fantastic portion size. Usually in a crowded market, quality suffers, but this foot was tasty, and hot when it arrived. I have been to this place maybe a dozen times and id say it was the most consistent and for your typical kebab shop style food, the best of the bunch along Liverpool road”

“So worth a visit! Amazing interior, lovely place. Had Sunday roast, which was good - not the best in my life as is not served with mash and Yorkshire pudding wasn't home made, but it hasnt spoilt the experience as beef was really good quality!”

“Hi all just wanted to say that I had a lovely experience in your salon on Saturday everyone was fantastic from start to finish as soon as you walked in I was greeted with the warmish welcome by staff and was offered a drink straight away. Stacey who did my hair was absolutely amazing she listened to what I wanted being done after I showed her a picture of my style and I was amazed and over the moon with it I finally found someone who did exactly what I asked for. “Sarah cut my hair, my husband's hair and our toddler's hair, all three of us were delighted with our cuts. Our toddler who is slightly shy and not used to strangers liked Sarah so much she gave her a big hug on leaving. It was so convenient having Sarah come to our house, and great that she has such a broad skills range so could accommodate us all and adapt to the requirements of a 2 year old. Sarah is very warm and professional. I was cutting my hair for a charity donation and she took lots of time to discuss with me the cut length and new style, which was especially kind as she wasn't charging me full price as it was for charity. We ended up having a really nice morning with Sarah and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

“We booked David for a five hour set for our wedding reception, and could not have been happier. Communicating with him in the lead-up to the day was super easy and stress-free. We had a great consultation which left us feeling like he really understood what we were going for in terms of the types of music and the crowd. On the day he absolutely nailed it, incorporating our 'must plays' in really seamlessly and playing a great blend of music that appealed to our whole range of guests. We and all of our guests had a blast and David absolutely kept the dancefloor full until midnight. So many of our guests spoke to us after to say how great they thought he was. “We ordered funeral flowers from Carol as we had recently received a sympathy arrangement through her and had been really impressed by the freshness of the flowers. The photo shows the flowers two weeks later- like a slow explosion. Carol has since told us that her flowers are fresh in every day. Carol was very kind and helpful when we made the order and the funeral arrangement is gorgeous. We recommend Carol’s florist to everyone.”

“A wonderful pub with fantastic food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The owners /staff are attentive and very welcoming. They have a great variety of beers, spirits and authentic Japanese sake and gins etc and also green tea, coffee for the non beer drinkers. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ve taken a few friends and family here and they’re bowled over with the food. My Japanese friend have said it’s the best tempura she has had in the UK. Looking forward to the expansion to the beer garden in the back as well.”

“Had an amazing dinner; the fish tacos, and halloumi and broccoli dish were our favourites. Enjoyed the wine and we shared the basque cheesecake to finish. Food was sensational and all the staff really friendly and we didn't feel rushed considering it was a Friday evening.”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”
