Instead of taking something away from the bill the young lady paid the difference for the customer. Something that today in this world shows true kindness. Just a message to say really well done. “Went for midweek lunch with a friend , we both had the 2 course menu deal and drinks . Very quiet with few customers while we were there, nice friendly staff . Food was very good if on the small portion side , we had the steak and ale pie . Have been here in the past and it has always been a good experience .”

“Just called and spoke to a very nice lady asking if they had a certain paint in for my daughters bedroom I bought a tub a while back she put me on hold and when she came back they had none in and I really needed another one to finish my daughters room off so she took my number and said she will ring a different store where she was working tomorrow and if they had one in she would ask them to save it and she would pick it up gor me and bring it into the middleton store on Saturday when dhes next in for me to pick up that is first class help I really dont know of anyone else that would do thst as I dont drive what great customer service I can now finish my daughters room on Saturday and ill have one happy child a big thanks to the lady who delt with my phone call and thankyou to poundstrecher”

“Great food as always from M and S. There were a number of special offers on when we were there. A number of products were reduced so it was excellent value. “Heard they just got new owners so went in to try. Instantly I as I go in, staff were very friendly. I got a doner and chips, and garlic bread pizza. The food was incredibly fresh, chips were crispy and doner was tasty, not to mention the pizza was cheesy and crispy. 5/5 definitely recommend.”

“Ordered a couple of weeks ago and I've placed 3 more orders ever since. Gotta say this is the tastiest special fried rice I've ever had in Manchester, and I've had it all over the world. Very nice wok hey. I do have two suggestions: (1) Perhaps consider having a special dry chow mein on the menu. I only saw a wet chow mein. (2) This place has a 1 out of 6 hygiene rating. Personally I'm not overly concerned because the food is piping hot, and I have a strong third-world stomach. But I find it hard to recommend to others with such a low hygiene rating.”

“Nice cafe with usual Tesco menu. Food excellently cooked and presented, and even the beans were hot (which in my experience of most cafes is unusual). Cheerful and efficient staff and good atmosphere. What was really good was that you ordered at the counter rather at the impersonal machines which is becoming the norm (and is the reason we tend to avoid several other Tesco Cafes).”
