So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. “Sarah cut my hair, my husband's hair and our toddler's hair, all three of us were delighted with our cuts. Our toddler who is slightly shy and not used to strangers liked Sarah so much she gave her a big hug on leaving. It was so convenient having Sarah come to our house, and great that she has such a broad skills range so could accommodate us all and adapt to the requirements of a 2 year old. Sarah is very warm and professional. I was cutting my hair for a charity donation and she took lots of time to discuss with me the cut length and new style, which was especially kind as she wasn't charging me full price as it was for charity. We ended up having a really nice morning with Sarah and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

“Took our youngest. He’s incredibly shy and was nervous but Ray was amazing!! Wonderful cut, brilliant warm welcome and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Have booked again for eldest son. A week later.... I brought in our autistic son, J tonight for his first barber haircut. He absolutely LOVED it. From the moment we arrived, the music was turned down without asking (most places don't even ask, and when you do, businesses can be a bit off about the request.) Tyler was so understanding about J's needs, he even pointed out to me how he would not like a total restyle as it may be too much change. Such care was taken to make sure that J felt ok during his experience and wow he looked so smart! On leaving J said to me "I feel great and I don't have to worry about going to a barber's every again, especially that one!" High praise indeed! Many thanks to Tyler and the whole team.”
