“We had a great time here, we stayed in Cabin 1 and it was so peaceful. We had our 7 month old to think about and this worked well as we could have dinner and relax in the evening and she could sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we wouldn't disturb here like we would in a hotel in one room. Staff were lovely and friendly and the site was clean. Hot tub was great to chill in the sunshine. Lovely walks around Dovestone Reservoir just a stones throw away. Have already recommended to family and would absolutely recommend again particularly for young families who like lots of countryside walks and exploring the local area.”

“Lovely, small hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub too, Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for the standedge tunnel canoe trip. Stayed here on Friday night and then the owner gave us a lift to marsden on sat morning to join the canoe trip. Diggle end of the tunnel is 200m from the hotel. Recommended.”

I did not attend but Google assumed that I had and listed my review for the Gait inn at Millington I'm error. So this is to correct it. “Kirstie is a god send. Our pup is under her care for one day every week and he absolutely loves going. We have sent him to other day cares before and he didn't react well to going back, but he gets excited to arrive at Hotel 4 Hounds (which says a lot). He has slept over on numerous occasions and we always receive updates, photos and videos of how he is. We totally trust that our pup is being well looked after and couldn't recommend more!”

“Chris is amazing with the dogs in her care and each one is treated like her own. Chris takes them on the most wonderful walks and if your pooch is boarding, they will get all the comforts of home. You get regular updates of photos and videos and Chris will always work with you around your busy lives. Chris really does go above and beyond What a gem.”
