“My son has been here for around 2.5 years & I have no regrets - all the staff, from the reception, kitchen staff & daycare staff are great - as a parent you’re naturally apprehensive about leaving your child somewhere but he was looked after well the whole time at Kids Allowed. A great place & I would highly recommend.”

“I would like to thank Dexter's for advice - we have a young rescue cat who has been hungry all the time, even straight after food, waking up very early. The lady at Dexter's was so helpful, explaining that the food we were providing was not satisfying enough. We tried the recommended food and the difference has been amazing. She is more relaxed, playful and not demanding food all the time. She sleeps all night which is a huge bonus. Please visit for food, toys and advice.”

“Our little one had the time of his life and loved every minute of it. Even as parents we were impressed with the facilities/ quality of play equipment, they sell a wide range of food and lovely seating area by the cafe that has plenty of high chairs. The tables are spaced out to allow for pushchairs/buggies. They have a role play section with plenty of soft play equipment etc. for under 5’s. Our little one loved the different sensory areas. The whole place kept him entertained for hours! We visited a second time on the way home. We only wish we had one closer to us down south as we are based in Sussex.”

“My Jasper's groomer. I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I trust her implicitly with him. I know he'll be groomed the correct way a Rough Collie should be groomed and not end up looking like another breed of dog! I see so many posts on FB from owners of Rough Collies who are bitterly disappointed when they fetch their dog from the groomer. I was fortunate in that Maxine was highly recommended by Jasper's breeder so it was a no-brainer that I chose her. I have to travel on 2 buses to get to her salon but that's no issue as Jasper loves travelling on the bus and the passengers always compliment his glorious coat.”

“A lovely park with lots of options for children to have fun. We had 6 children ranging from 9 months to 8 years and all found something to do. Parking is reasonable, as is the kiosk. They enjoyed feeding the ducks, the bike track, play ground and the sand pit. More benches on the sunshine would be useful.”

“My kids love it here. All the nursery staff are very kind and really care for the children. The pre-school staff are beyond excellent and my child has learnt so much to prepare for primary school during their time at Honey Bears. The activities are varied and well thought through. Can’t recommend Honey Bears enough.”

“The building, i believe, is not open to the general pubic but luckily for me, i work for the company that maintains it, so I got to see inside and how grand it is pictures speak for themselves it's grade 2 listed and has links with Agatha christie and also prince albert is rumourd to have stayed the night here on a visit to Manchester to open a gallery”

“Our daughter currently attends Ramillies Hall Nursery and she is absolutely thriving, thanks to the kind, caring, nurturing and dedicated team of staff. The Nursery is set in beautiful surroundings which the children are lucky enough to regularly enjoy. The children spend hours outside playing, engaging in planned activities and heading off on welly walks through the grounds and fields. Communication is also spot on, if you have any concerns on drop off, the staff happily keep you updated throughout the day. You are also regularly updated with your child’s progress, including meetings and written reports and most importantly the feedback you receive, certainly in our case, highlights how well the staff know your child. Overall our daughter is happy, she loves Nursery and the staff who care for her. We couldn’t recommend Ramillies highly enough!”

“Both of my children went to Heald Green Methodist Pre-School from the age of 2-4 and it has been a fantastic experience. We tried a couple of nurseries before but nothing came close to what Fiona and the team provide. They teach with love. The place has great parking and a fantastic outdoor space. I highly recommend!”

“We used Brookside Pre-School for our eldest son, and he loved it there. they have the woodland setting which is great if the kids need a field to run around in. They've got wet and dry areas so the kids can explorer textures, and they get the kids involved in making amazing murals and wall coverings. Still love the Chinese dragon they made last year. We felt very welcomed in to a warm nurturing environment, where the staff are very professional and yet friendly. As a parent, i was impressed with the level of detail they went to, I remember last year they reared chicks from eggs around easter time, I've never seen another nursery even come close to do anything like that. The kids learnt so much just by that one simple thing, brilliant. Great welcoming staff, warm playful environment, inside and outside for those sunny days, and muddy puddle days. Excellent standard of care, and a very happy child. Thank you Brookside!”

“My daughter is just about to finish after two years at First Steps and her older sister attended 5 years ago. I cannot recommend this wonderful pre school enough. The staff to child ratio is excellent and the children thrive on the smaller group sizes and 1:1 time they get to spend with their key workers. The outdoor space is fantastic, and utilised daily for different activities. Weekly visits from Footy Tots and Diddi Dance also give the children those extra opportunities to try something different in an environment they feel safe and secure in. Helen and her team have years of experience in pre school learning and wellbeing and this shines through in everything they do for the children!”

“Our dog Molly has been walking with Georgia and Andy (Trails for Tails) for a while now. Professional and very reliable service. We also get sent some cracking photos from their walks. I would highly recommend them. We also use their dog boarding service when we are away and it's like having a second home for your dog. Molly loves it!”

She sends me photos and updates all the time . I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my cats. She's so reliable - I never worry while I'm away.”

“These classes are great! I’ve just finished taking my son to the 0-3 month classes which have been so perfectly pitched for his age group. I was nervous about taking my newborn to a class but Natalie is such a great leader and has made such a fun, supportive environment. Cannot recommend these classes enough!”
