“My first visit in many years despite visiting the Castle pub opposite fairly often. A lovely two room pub with booth seating in the front bar area and a traditional back room. They had two JW Lees real ales on sale but Albrecht treated me to a pint of Guinness. Very good. He had San Miguel.”

“I initially went to Kwit Fit for my 4 wheel alignment but they refused to do it because of the bolts on my rear wheel. I contacted several garages and none of them could offer the service except Paul. Paul and his staffs are professional and efficient. They gave me a call after dropping my car off about 15 minutes and explained how they could deal with it. I am happy with their service and expertise. Highly recommend!”

“Been using this garage for a very long time and had about 9 cars and 2 vans in the immediate family during that time that are always serviced, repaired and MOT'd here. Service is spot on and prices are very reasonable for the work undertaken. Never had any complaint. EDIT: Just had my latest MOT done and the above review still holds true. Knowledgeable staff, clear consise info on what needs doing and why. Most importantly very good value for money.”

“I've been taking my Labrador, Ted, here for 6 years now. He's always happy there and gets really excited when we start to drive up the hill to get there. They always fit us in, even if I've forgotten to book and end up calling last minuite. Nothing is ever too much trouble.”

“We had never used them before but the one we normally use was closed and at the last minute having guests arriving to expect our normal meal had to ring Couldn’t have been more helpful on the phone , it arrived on time hot and the quality was extremely good , we will use them again”

“I had occasion to call in for an automotive twhouch up paint but did not know the code number. Unfortunately I did not get the chaps name at the oldham branch. He was VERY helpful and after a while came away with the correct paint. This was last week on Wed.(I think).Very impressed. P.Barber”

“The dentist Shumaila Amin and her assistant Kayla, indeed the whole practice are amazing, especially for nervous patients! Their patience, kindness and professionalism have transformed me from barely being able to sit in a dentist's chair to undergoing fillings and an extraction with confidence. They make you feel safe and listened to and are completely non judgemental over fear of dentists. I would highly recommend her to anyone and whilst I'm lucky enough to receive NHS treatment for this level of care and treatment it would definitely be worth paying privately for. Thank you Shumaila and her team! X”

“I’ve been buying flowers from this florist for 15 years. I’ve known Dale for many years and the staff are so lovely and helpful. A comment was made about the staff being racist, but there are not at all! They are very friendly, respectful and genuine people. I wouldn’t go to any other place as all my orders are made with effort and are complimented by many! Would defo recommend ☺️”

“Had a lunch out with oir eldely parents this lunchtime, we travelled over from Huddersfield. The service and food was very nice and the my partner highly recommends the Lees bitter.
