“HEADLINE: Thank you Megan and the Team for going out of your way to help me at a very stressful time. (This review is long overdue!) Weds morning 16 Aug 23 my car began "screaming" on the M61. I stayed in the slow lane and came off at the next junction and rang Parkills straight away. "Could I bring my car in?" Lovely Megan initially said at least a week. When I explained I am self-employed working across the NW and need my car, (don't work: don't earn) compounded by currently driving back and forth to a specialist vets 30+ miles away (my dog had cancer and days earlier had had a huge operation). Megan said she'd speak to the manager at 9. She called me back at 9 and said "bring the car in, though they may not get to it that day". A slow drive to Parkhills and I left it with them. Megan rang me that afternoon, they did in fact find out what was wrong with the car same day, then it was a case of waiting for parts, I added a full service to the work, and had a niggly tiny issue (I couldn't remove a plastic cap on one tyre valve to inflate it). Megan kept me informed throughout those 3 days (4 calls in 3 days) and I had my car back by Friday! So what could have been 2 weeks no income AND worry how I'd get my dog back to the vets in an emergency. I was only off the road for 2.5 days. This is the 2nd time Parkhills have provided excellent service and resolved an issue for me. I really appreciate Parkhills excellent customer service, going out of their way to look after me as a customer and the transparency of great videos illustrating what works needs to be done gives that added peace of mind. For me choosing a garage boils down to trust and good service, who will keep you safe on the roads. I'm confident when I take my car to Parkhills they'll do a good job and are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again Megan, and sorry this review wasn't posted sooner!”

“Our son completed all his GCSE’s with the Intuition Centre in Heald Green across 2 years and he could not have had a better experience. We are a clinically vulnerable family and the exam officer Shabir was an absolute angel. He went over and above for our family to make sure that our son could sit exams safely and nothing was too much trouble. He was understanding, kind, diligent and supportive at a time when so many people like us are struggling so much. No other exam centres would help us and I called so many. Our son would have really struggled to sit any exams at all without Shabir and the Intuition team supporting us. They understandably get quite busy so please be aware of that but honestly if you need to sit private exams this is the place. We can never thank them enough for all they have done for us and our son is now doing A levels and planning what he wants to do next. Without the Intuition centre it would be a very different picture. Fantastic people who genuinely care and that is becoming rarer these days. Huge 5 stars from us”

“I attended Cadmans for their Adult Ballroom and Latin class yesterday evening after 13 years of not dancing! I can honestly say I had such a brilliant time - the dance staff are so welcoming and put me at ease, I can’t wait to continue a Thursday evening! “A breath of fresh air! Great visit today. Met a fantastic dentist called ‘Noor Fatima’. Absolutely delighted. I am hard of hearing, this lady was polite, a beautifully spoken lady, she made an effort to look at me when communicating so I could see what she was saying too. Dr Fatima is brilliant, very intelligent and knowledgeable as well as a caring and compassionate person. Dr Fatima fixed my broken filling and had my teeth all sparkling clean in no time and I went out there with a big smile on my face. Dr Fatima is exactly the kind of dentist we all need, a true professional and very empathetic. A very gentle lady. “I recently when to this dentist for composite veneers with Dr James and couldn’t be happier with the out come. I first spoke to Laura to get me booked in and she was very efficient and helpful. I then had my free consultation and compared to other places I have been to they do not compare to what Dr James has to offer, he talked me through the teeth whitening and actually showed me what my teeth would look like with the composite veneers and took scans and x rays of my teeth. Once completing my final appointment I have walked out very happy with my composite veneers and received many compliments on how natural they look. Thank you to Dr James and everyone at the dentist for being welcoming and doing an amazing job from start to finish.”

“Well designed building. Large open spaces inside of ground floor atrium with large lecture theaters. Smaller rooms around upper floors. Many with no windows may feel more constrained. Well planned external space and campus with a short walk to main campus.”

“My pug had an issue with mites, he was a ratching himself till he bled constantly, within 10 mins she told me what mite he has showed me a photo under the microscope of the pest, within 4 weeks his fur has all grown back no more scratching, absolutely delighted, before and after photos below. “We have taken the kids a few times and more recently attended a Peppa Pig party to celebrate my son and daughters 3rd birthday. The place it's self is a little small but has a lot to offer we particularly like it because of the sensory room which offers a clam environment for my son. The twins also enjoyed the interactive room and the main soft play area which is great for young children. The food in the cafe is very nice offers both hot and cold food. Great place, great people and would highly recommend”

“A very enjoyable experience for pre-school and primary-school-age children. You can pet some of the animals, particularly the donkeys and goats. And there is hay available to feed them. We also saw sheep, pigs, geese, turkeys, peacocks and a rooster and hen. It only takes 15 to 30 minutes to see everything, so the animal park is not a destination in itself. But it is definitely a must-see as part of a first visit to the huge Heaton Park.”
