Quick dining in Stockport

“Flic decided to have a day out in Marple. We started at this lovely Robinson's pub next to Rose Hill station. I am pretty sure I have been here a few times many years ago. Large open plan and plush interior with TV's and an outside terrace, also with a TV. Stairs down to a small beer garden beside a large car park. Three of four handpumps in use on my visit. Went for a seasonal Pale Ale, AMO 4.4%. Really refreshing.”

“Shop is always kept really clean and the staff are always very friendly and polite especially Kay who always looks after us when we order on the Subway App. Has a few seats for dining in, and always does great sandwiches and don't forget the delicious cookies!”

“Fantastic Takeaway. Great food and professional service. Having recently experienced awful service from a DIFFERENT local takeaway - it made me appreciate how good Aroma are. Only one issue on numerous occasions ordering from here, and a full refund was given and fresh food cooked and sent out. Owner even delivered the food himself and came to apologise for the order going missing. The food is fab, best I've had since our favourite restaurant closed down in Stockport. Really tasty, not just packed with chilli - the flavours are great. Can't recommend enough.”

“Went for Sunday lunch and had a fabulous meal. It’s a set menu and had all 3 courses for £27. The food was well presented, hot and very tasty. You can’t fault it and I would highly recommend a visit here.”

“Just ordered takeout from Royal Spice for the first time. Ordered direct with them rather than through 3rd party apps. Food came within 40 mins and was probably the best curry we’ve had on takeout for a long time. We ordered the set meal for two. Really tasty food and will definitely be ordering from them again.”

“We saw on our receipt that our server’s name was Jazmine Louise. She was an absolute delight — had us chuckling away and made us feel very welcome. Such a friendly and funny young lady, she really made our outing that much nicer. As a couple that doesn’t get out as much these days, it was really lovely to feel so welcomed. She’s actually given us the confidence to start dining out a bit more — even if it’s just back to German Doner Kebab! The food was great too — I had the doner wrap which was amazing, especially with the three sauces on it, and my partner had the quesadilla meal which he really enjoyed. All in all, a lovely experience thanks to Jazmine and the great food!”

“The lady serving was very helpful. I had the House Special Chowmain. It had lots of beansprouts and some bamboo shoots among other vegetables, as it should! No crunchy water-chestnuts though (which the very nice lady explained none of the younger generation like them much, so they go to waste) :( . All the meat and King prawns were of good quality and cooked as they should be. The eeg noodles were very fine. Personally my favorite, rather than the big thick ones. It was one of the tastiest chowmains I have had on a long time. In fact as I write this, I'm wanting another one (yum!). I'm off to give it a try this evening in fact!”

“Been using this nice takeaway for over 10years always happy. But there beef could be better it chewy cheap cuts of meat but there egg fo young is lovely as is all there food salt and pepper ribs are nice staff always helpful always welcome me and happy to help”

“Only went for a couple of hours to my local Slimming World group which used the vault as a temporary place to hold it. But, I was so impressed by the decor and the cleanliness of the place that I would definitely go in again in a social capacity. It's spotless.”

“This is one of the best pubs in the area. I have been going here on and off since way before it was renovated last time and Julie and her team work hard to make this a fun and welcoming place to go. There is no food but the cost of a pint is reasonable, has live music every weekend, has a small enclosed outdoor area and you are not constantly looking over your shoulder. How often do you hear the words “We have had to shut the front door as we are full” in pubs any more! Keep up the good work Julie.”

“Great food with a homely taste and affordable price. Worth trying We went as a group of 4 and tried pothi chor, chatti chor, kappa biriyani, appam and chicken stew. The rice dishes are really good and taste really fresh. Also tried their tea, coffee and lime juice.all were nice and the portion size meals and drinks are great. The service and the friendly attitude of the staff were amazing.”

“Who would make a review for whetherspoon? I think it is because it us one of the best. Very polite staff, nice environment and most important, very very nice breakfast, especially the bacon. It is sometimes tricky that different branches of whetherspoon varies a lot. Anyway this one is impressive.”

“I recently visited Nawaab Manchester and had a fantastic dining experience. The buffet was impressive with a huge variety of dishes to choose from, catering well to both adults and children. Every dish I tried was delicious, piping hot, and regularly refilled, which kept everything fresh throughout the evening. We arrived just after 6pm when the restaurant had just opened, and there was no waiting time at all, which made the start of our meal even better. The flavours were rich and authentic — truly a delight for the taste buds. While it is a little on the pricey side, I think it is justified by the sheer range and quality of food on offer.
