“We travelled from Newcastle and stopped at this place for some lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the weather was sunny. The staff were all nice and happy and extremely accommodating. The food was EXCELLENT. The BEST sushi I had and bang bang kara-age. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!”

“Some of the best ramen I've ever had. Came in here for a last minuet meal before a gig, incredible service and fast food. The pork ramen was smokey and rich with an incredible pull apart pork joint on top. The chicken ramen had a lighter broth to it but full of flavour and morish. Fried chicken was tender and crisp, felt homemade and cozy. The atmosphere was cool and stylish, felt authentic for a small ramen shop, simple but effective. Would absolutely eat here again!”

“Great food, polite staff, always able to find you a spot.....fresh produce....adds up to an excellent dining experience! Revisited in April 2022, the updated menu just keeps on getting better, plenty of plant based options if you have non-meat eaters in your party. Staff, as ever, are helpful polite and genuinely nice people. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“We had a really tasty lunch. Bao buns, gyoza. ramen, and a desert of fried banana and ice cream - a coffee. Really good. The service was fantastic. I went with an older person who ate slowly. The server was really patient and supportive, not a hint of pressure for us to hurry. The woman Sol? couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you!”

“Been coming here since it first opened, it's a great place for a variety of Japanese food, honestly the vegan/vegetarian sweet potato katsu is PHENOMENAL! I'm not even vegetarian and it's so good, plus the rest of the food is on point. I took a group of my friends and we ordered a great variety, I've no complaints really!”

“This place brings back such nostalgia and memories from when I was studying in Liverpool. Of course, I was ecstatic when I heard they opened a branch in Manchester. Nothings changed fortunately, I still get my large mix and match combo with katsu curry and sweet chilli chicken (best combo) and the portions are always super generous so it’s always comfort food to me. I do wish they did onigiri at this branch though! 10/10!”

“Tried the fire cracker shrimp starter, the dynamite bao buns, katsu fries and the steamed chicken & prawn wontons. The bao buns were really soft, and the fire cracker shrimp was really tasty, would definitely recommend those. The staff was also really lovely and helpful with recommendations.”

“I have visited Unagi on a few occasions now and every visit is always great. The food is delicious! I would highly recommend the Bang Bang Karaage chicken and the salt & pepper fries, these were our favourites but everything tasted so good. Service is always friendly and very attentive. “A trip down memory lane to a beautiful spring day following a beautiful Bachata workshop hosted by factory international based in Manchester; led to an impromptu dinner at Suki Suki- famously known for their ramen! Lucky to be sat upstairs without a reservation, the interior of the restaurant carries a beautiful intimacy perfect for an escape from the bustle and hustle of the streets of deansgate. Opting to try other menu options, our table order included(from left to right): Yaki Udon with pork as the protein of choice 10/10- perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice and the pork was just perfect. Bang bang chicken served with the egg noodle was delightful, with the sweet and spicy blended and perfectly balanced. 10/10 Served with salt and pepper chips which you cannot go wrong with!also 10/10 The food was delicious, definitely a welcomed surprise as my sister and I were absolutely famished. The portions were large and perfect for sharing. Whether you are a solo diner, table for 2/4/6, it is modelled to accommodate any group size. Now, I would advise to book in advance if you want to be seated upstairs, the intimacy it offers is worth it. Will I be coming back to try more on the menu? Yes yes and yes! I appreciated how fast the service was considering it was a full room, the staff were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed! I haven’t got the receipt this time, but the prices for the quality served 100% worth it and cost about £37.29- this includes a glass of white wine. Also if you are like us and end up being full with some food left on your plate, don’t be shy to ask the staff for takeout! Enjoy.”

“Elena offered us first class service tonight, she couldn’t have done more for us, she recommended me the hoki fish coconut kare and had to say it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted! In all the years I've been coming to Wagamama Media City, the team has been absolutely amazing. It's often a bit quieter than it should be, but honestly, the customer service is bang on—they are so attentive and welcoming! ​I went with a classic this time: one of their donburi rice dishes, a side of gyoza, and a few extra chilies to spice things up, and I was sorted! Plenty of smiles all round, and they've genuinely never let me down. Highly recommend a visit! ​I hope they see it and feel the love!”

“I am a frequent customer of meiz and they never disappoint. We love the offers and adore the bottomless menu thats on during the week. Sushi is always well presented, tasty, and are delivered in generous portions. Their other dishes are also very flavourful and and probably the best of what Preston has to offer in terms of Japanese food. Sushi tasty might have the aesthetic down, but their food pales in comparison. Super friendly staff also!”

“I am a fan of Chinese food. So I was really expecting good food and wao and I got good food. Tasty, beef in my udon noodles was so tender and juicy. The Malaysian spicy chiken rice was really good. The stir fry on rice was a bit less, but it was so tasty that I just inhaled it. I would definitely be going again and again. The service was really good. Very good communication.”
