“Nearly didn't book here due to some bad reviews. Glad I did because the place is fine. It does look a bit tatty on the outside but it is OK inside. Although it is on a main road into Manchester we were surprised at how little traffic there was overnight. Our room was overlooking the road and we had no problem with traffic noise. It had acoustic double glazing that was very effective. There is no air con but a fan is provided which helps. We were there on one of the hottest days/nights and found it tolerable. The meal deal was good. You eat in the pub which is attached to the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't have any real ale but the Draught Guinness was good. There was a selection of lager and cider. So don't be put off, if it is convenient for you go for it.”

“Lively but not noisy, people and pets gather to share food, nearby stalls sell snacks and hot food, and even flowers and fruits coexist with fine wine. I love the atmosphere and space, but unfortunately I just passed by this time.”

“After reading negative reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was really impressed by Townfields. It's not cheap but it's a proper restaurant and all such places cost these days. The point is, it's worth it. I considered removing a star for the staff being nothing like as knowledgeable as they should be for the standard of the establishment. But I decided that would be churlish. The service was good, it was friendly and it was quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, just right for a quiet night out. The food, though, is what stands out. The two of us ordered different things over three courses and all six dishes were top quality. A bit different, beautifully presented and memorably delicious. Definitely recommended.”

“We recently called in Ramsdens to get a price on some gold jewellery. We dealt with Michael W. What a really nice young man, friendly with lots of knowledge and real professionalism. Would highly recommend dealing with Ramsden in Altrincham, and especially Michael who is credit to the branch.”

“Very good pizza considering that it's just a takeaway place. I would say at real italian pizzeria level. Good deals every week. I need to mention that their fries are one of the best I ever had in my life! Only little negative note, not much of vegetarian pizza flavours. I would add at least 2 more to the once that are already available.”

“We have ordered food from Great Indian kitchen quite a number of times and have always been a happy customer. We love their food so much that we opted for their catering service for our daughter’s baptism event. Everyone loved the food and it was a pure delight. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Indian tea specially their chicken Hyderabadi and Samosa which are almost like Delhi style.”

“Tanya's place is absolutely wonderful - we couldn't imagine leaving our bunny with anyone else! We have a house rabbit so she is used to lots of roaming time and Tanya always makes sure she gets regularly let out to explore, keeping us up to date with videos when she can and and our bunny absolutely loves her little holiday here. Tanya cares for her like she is her own. She is so knowledgeable and always gives such great advise. The facilities are amazing - central heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. All food is included and Tanya always makes sure they have the best veg and hay. Can highly recommend :)”

“Had a great meal at Street Food. The service was friendly and fast. I had the beef teriyaki with noodles — really flavourful and well cooked. The Hong Kong–style food was delicious, and the iced coffee was amazing too. Definitely recommend!”
