“Ordered 2 kebabs at 18.10. Didn’t come until 19.45 but didn’t realise how bad the weather was until I opened the door. Felt for the driver. Good size portions, donner was lovely. Chicken was a little dry and would prefer salad and sauce to be put on kebab rather than have to do it ourselves but small things. Used Naga a lot and tonight hasn’t put me off.”

“Hello, We ordered food for my son's birthday party. The food was delicious, and everyone loved it. It was delivered on time, and the staff were lovely. There was so much food for everyone. I highly recommend them for parties. PS: Chicken Biryani and Chicken lollipop were yummy, but Parotta and chicken curry were the stars of the day. “We were sceptical about staying at The Hyde venue as we knew it wasn’t as renovated as its local sites such as the Ashton site. Having recently visited to use the swimming facilities we were met by friendly staff so we decided to book an overnight here due to the low costs. Being regulars at sites such as Manchester’s dokota and the midland we naturally had high standards basing our recommendations off google and trip advisor ratings. I can honestly say after meeting Kai and Kiki at the bar they completed our stay. They were so welcoming and genuine honest people who cared to take the time to speak to you despite their clear busy work schedule. Before meeting them the staff were friendly but did the bare minimum. I feel I need to give a special mention to these two individuals because they go above and beyond what is expected and deserve to be recognised by management and higher as they have staff that exceed their pay grade. What they provided was above and beyond what any of the 5* venues we visit in Manchester City centre and we will return on the back of their hospitality alone. I hope this review allows the recognition they deserve, having started my career in hospitality at the age of 15 I know how hard it is to show care and general interest in clients but they do so in an impeccable manner. “This is my third order from Le Bela. There are so many sub-par takeaways around Hyde, but finding one that has been constantly good has been hard. So far so good with La Bela, fast delivery, hot food, and great quality.”

“The best Curry I have ever had! Amazing value for money and the owner (pictured) is super accommodating, as he often allows me to switch an item for something else! As a regular customer, I get greeted with a drink on the house and a big smile too! The food is top quality, and so is the service. Freshly cooked with a 5-star food hygiene rating. I highly recommend onion Bhaji and Meat Samosa!”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!”

“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. We had a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. “First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx”

The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We ordered a strawberry sherbet but didn’t quite enjoy it, and without any fuss, they kindly replaced it with a vanilla ice cream free of charge. Such a thoughtful gesture! “This review is based on 1 particular meal, customer service, food quality and packaging in comparison to other takeaways I’ve been to in Manchester and London… I don’t usually give reviews unless I’ve been to a place on a number of occasions because sometimes like everyone else, we have bad days therefore, food or service might not be as consistent. However, fortunately to say - Heng Seng have been consistent over the years I have been going there. My review is based on the vegetable chow mien and chicken (halal) chow mien dishes alongside salt & pepper chips and prawn crackers (had other stuff too but I’m comparing to other takeaways). - Over the course of 5 years, me and my partner fell in love with their vegetable chow mien. Tonight, the chicken (halal) chow mien took that spot. Their chow mien is BANGING! Full of flavour, generous on the portion size and not just full of noodles (like some places). It’s not heavy on oil, doesn’t leave you feeling unhealthy or groggy - salt and pepper chips: again, good size, lots of flavour and not too much salt - prawn crackers: these are just right. A lot of places we’ve been to either tastes too fish or are too oily - so hands down, Heng Seng smashed it. We’ve always ordered our food then collected. Never had to wait long and customer service was always exceptional and first class. I’m not a food critic btw - I just know my flavours, oil and spices cos I’m an Asian! Plus I travel a lot. In summary, really impressed with this takeaway.”
