“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”

“Diggle lock is a must visit in the Oldham/saddleworth area I’ve been lots of times it’s always great and the staff a super friendly. My favourite at the moment is the steak and eggs with halloumi on the side. The peach ice tea is a must try also!”

“One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The restaurant is quirky and modern with great ambiance. Our 2 waitresses were fantastic; friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. Then there was the food.... hard to put into words how good it was. Every course was a piece of art and the tastes blew me away. “Hidden in a side street is this excellent small family owned restaurant. Sebastian the Italian owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was genuinely the best Italian we had had for a long time (in fact some members of our party even said it surpassed the food they had in Italy). The prices were fair and service was excellent. If you’re in the area it’s absolutely worth grabbing lunch or dinner here, we will definitely be returning when we’re next in Manchester.”

“My wife and I came for lunch, having previously visited for drinks a few weeks ago. We are trying all the local eateries as we will shortly be moving here. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and it all seemed very well organised. The food was excellent and we both really enjoyed the Sunday Dinner menu which was available on bank holiday Monday. Decor is really nice and the pub has a welcoming feel. Nice to see dogs are welcomed in the bar and garden areas. Will most definately be returning”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. “Google did not hear my search for the Gait in correctly and directed me to this by mistake. I did not attend but Google assumed that I had and listed my review for the Gait inn at Millington I'm error. So this is to correct it. No fault of the Gate which I will attend next time I am in their location. I'm sure it's fine but I only post about my experience not Google errors.”

“A spur of the moment decision on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. A Walk in without a reservation late on Sunday afternoon, the pub was relatively busy and there was a small queue of people waiting to be seated. Whilst guest were being seated, the lady behind the bar could see that we were waiting. She stopped what she was doing, she greeted us with a cherry hello, and confirmed if we had a reservation which we haven’t. She said it was no bother had a table available And it will only take two ticks to wipe down and set up. We both went for the Sunday lunch one roast beef one roast lamb the meals came to the table within 20 minutes and I have to say one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years we finished off With one cheesecake and two spoons. The staff here at the Horton were most definitely on their a game when we visited on Sunday. Polite professional and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning to the Horton Arms.”

“I've frequented green chilli for years n years for as long as I can remember and never had an issue with there food, everything I've ordered from there for am excample dinner kebabs on nan or pitta, fries, Asian style tikka kebabs, onion bharjis, tandoori chicken, Pakoras, pieces of chicken tikka, all the side items, chicken, burgers, I've been enjoying a meal deal called south Indian thali which consists of 3 curries, a chicken korma, chicken tikka massala and a lamb curry (can't think of the name right now) i can tolerate spicy food and do enjoy it but when it comes to curry my favourite is chicken korma its always been the same followed by chicken tikka massala so this deal is perfect for me. You also get a nan bread, a tandoori chicken leg, pieces of chicken tikka, chicken pakoras and salad and sauce if required I order it for myself as my kids won't eat curry so i have some then have seconds the day after so there's definitely enough to go around although if you like a pile of rice I'd order an extra potion but it's an absolute bargain staff are always kind and friendly they temporary shut for a while not so long ago and they certainly was missed from all of threw local customers definitely recommend z”

“Didn't eat it there, but bartenders was really kind in the morning. I just waiting my check-in to the hostel next door. Nice espresso, real Italian coffee machine. Perfect place to start exploring Manchester, best time to visit 8-11PM on Friday. IPA, cider is ok. It was live music on Thursday.”
