My whole family have been going here for years and would never think of going anywhere else. Really accommodating, professional and above all else, Stacey really cares about making people happy. “I just got my nails done for Xmas party at Choco Nails. I never braved enough to try red but Choco nails didn’t disappoint me with the red cat eyes, not too much but still show off the festive nails. Price are not bad for this fancy set. Staff are always friendly. I got the shape that I wanted. Definitely come back”

“Never go anywhere else. Revolving cast of cutters with a few stalwarts who have been there forever. Generally you get the next available stylist but favourites can be requested.. modern styles with clipps prevail and scissor cuts available. For men the Turkish shave is highly recommended.”

“I've just started going to this beauty salon. So far I've had a pedicure, facial and eyelash/eyebrow tint with waxing. Very impressed by all. The salon I'd spotlessly clean, Jess dcplains everything she's doing and the pricing is reasonable. She can be booked direct or on treatwell.”

“I first went to Jessica over 12 months ago for my semi permanent eyebrows and have just been back for a top up. Before I had them done they were virtually non existent but Jess created a lovely shape and colour to suit me. I had a combination of natural looking hairstrokes and shading and the result is amazing. I am so pleased with them and have received so many compliments.”

“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“I love this place, what an absolute gem. Been going here for years and it’s always like coming home to friends. My nails are always perfect. The audacity of some young girls leaving bad reviews for gorgeous small local businesses is laughable! Please ignore the teenagers in the reviews, they seemingly got upset because they don’t understand the need for local businesses to put in place cancellation policies, to protect the income of their staff. And then the friends of this girl started a pile on! Shame on them. Please respect local business policies girls, don’t hurt such a great place with your lies. Let’s be kind. :)”

Would highly recommend the high frequency facials if you have stubborn reoccurring acne or just want a fresh glow, they really work. Raheala is so lovely and professional, 10/10”

“What can I say about this place! It's an unassuming studio but once you walk in you get welcomed with an offer of a brew and made to feel comfortable from the off. I had my tattoo from laura but every artist was happy to talk and made you feel inclusive of their studio. Excellent craic, top notch artists, spotlessly clean. All round good eggs with a cracking atmosphere.”
