“We went on Saturday 20th Sept despite the terrible weather. Table for four. The food was amazing as always, great choice starters and mains. I often skip lunch when going here to enjoy the duck and pancakes, as well as a main never disappoints. Fillet steak Cantonese is always a good choice. Great service and kindness . They have added an internal porch to reduce drafts for the winter . Very well tested last night in the weather. Enjoyed the evening thank you”

“I've been going to The Urmston regularly for almost 10 years now! My friends and I started going to the Pub Quiz there on Thursdays back in 2016 and we still go to this day! We've made many friends through the quiz and we love all of the locals too. The staff here have always made us feel welcome and that's why we still go week in, week out! Plus, the food is really good too! My family and I often enjoy dropping in for a Sunday dinner now and again.”

“Honestly I love this GP. Everyone seems to complain about the receptionist but every time i’ve been in there i’ve never had an issue at all they’re all very kind and friendly and very well clued up too! There’s great doctors at this practice- however there is a very small minority of doctors maybe 1 or 2 that you would have to be very unlucky to get. Careless, dismissive and unhelpful - however once you know who to avoid cough Dr Watson cough and find a doctor you get along with and who cares which is most of them tbh, you will have a good experience. I’ve had a really tough time the last month and have had many appointments and they’ve always been so helpful and reassuring. Actually left one of my appointments with a smile just feeling so grateful for them helping me and being generally so lovely. Dr Price is the best i’ve come across she’s the best! I literally never write reviews but I was curious what other people thought and was genuinely shocked. The emergency appointment system is much better from when they used to make you log onto AskMyGP at 8am. Now you can call anytime from 8am to around 12 noon and then that’s when they will start to triage all of their appointments in order or priority for that day. Much fairer, don’t have to be first in the queue just have to have a priority issue. Even routine appointments are quite good now too, longest I waited for an appointment on a routine basis was around 14days. Good for a routine appointment. The late evening appointments eg at 19:30 are a really good idea and very helpful. Only downside is the pharmacy is closed at those times so you’d have to wait till the following morning to pick it up from the pharmacy downstairs. Overall great practice par the couple bad apples.”

“Excellent, authentic curries. The dishes are all so full of flavour and so distinct. Often with takeaway curries, you find the sauces are all very generic. My son really loves the child friendly curry. So useful to be able to reheat when you need it. Would really recommend”

“My daughter has just left Bright Futures to start reception. She attended the nursery from 11 months old and during this time I can not fault Bright Futures for the care and attention they gave her. All the staff accommodated her individual needs, constantly checked in with me about her development, I received regular updates about her week, she loved the food provided and most importantly they provided a safe environment for her throughout the time she was there. “In 2015, after visiting 10 nurseries for our daughter we chose Canterbury Rd Day Nursery and we were very happy with our decision. The rooms, staff, play areas and management were and are excellent. Each day you receive a 'report' of what your child has done and now there is the online portal Capture where you see pictures and updates about your child plus you can upload your own too. There are 2 cooks that deliver healthy and varied meals with seasonal changes. There are regular events held at the nursery or local hall and parents evening twice a year. My daughter loved it there and now so does my son. If you are looking for a nursery for your child then I would highly recommend choosing Canterbury Rd.”

“Chelsey has been walking my two dogs for over a year now and have never had any issues at all! One of my dogs is a rescue husky cross and can be a bit nervous of new people and she has previously remained nervous of dog walkers, even after months of walking with them. But she is always so excited when Chelsey comes to collect them and adores her completely. My other dog seriously loves Chesley as well! They are always tired when they get back so I know they have had a really good walk! For the time they are out and the quality of the walk they get, the cost is really reasonable as well. Couldn't fault her at all and would 10000% recommend to anyone!”
