“Went today 10-1-2025 at 16:00. It was a team meal we are all gas engineers couldn't park in the car park as are vans height is 2.4meters and the car park limit is 2 metres so had to park on a dark road, really wasn't impressed, took the first picture of the back, well make your own mind up, the front entrance is a little dated but clean and warm, very welcoming staff, was shown to our designated table at the far side of the restaurant, 8 men ordered their food with impressive staff and knowledge, drinks came first with no wait, then the poppadoms came crispy and plenty of sauces, , 15 mins later the starters came, I had the garlic chicken, it looks great chicken was dry but kinda edible, all the lads ate theirs, to be honest think the starters are expensive and small in portion size, mains came I have a mixed tandoori sizzler looks a bit of all the same, a bit of a mishmash, but it was tasty and the curry sauce that it came with was ok, it's a messy dish but didn't get much for 18quid, the staff hovered around felt somewhat uncomfortable, so the meal finished all in all was ok, would I ask or want to go again definitely no, coming out to the main road as it was dark their are small floor metal 12 inches high barriers couldn't see them fell and made a mess of my knee going to off my legs for a few weeks now really not impressed if I could had parked in the car park this wouldn't have happened”

“Needed a new takeaway as a lot have really gone down hill in Tameside. Tried herb and spice and never looked back. Curries and tandoori starter was amazing. The lamb is delicious, best I’ve tasted. Keep up the good food and we’ll keep coming back!”

“Haven’t been here for a good few years. Used to go regularly but got bored of the flavours and prices went up. Went today as we were craving for authentic halal Chinese food. The food was amazing. From the squid to the prawn balls. The egg fried was nice. The best had to be the roast duck in black bean sauce. The flavours were deliges and the duck tasted good. The complimentary prawn crackers were a good touch. Will be definitely coming here again soon.”

“Amazing Chinese store with a huge variety of halal options from across Asia. You can find products from many different Asian countries all in one place. The selection is impressive and hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommended — the experience really reminded me of Hong Kong with its diversity, flavours, and vibrant atmosphere. “First time customer. Went to the shop to order as it's close to home. It was busy (Sunday 6.30ish) always a good sign. Chose the Cocktail Masala, with Garlic Nan, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and usual accompaniments. The guy apologised for the wait which was only about 15mins or so which was less than I expected but they have that many Chefs it shouldn't have surprised me. It's an open kitchen, very clean, and reasonable prices. Will def be going back and definitely recommend.”

“Fabulous Thai Food, sat next to the radiator, had veggie spring rolls and massaman curry. Was early when we visited so quieter than usual, service was tip top and so friendly. “I have been going to this restaurant for years now on and off. Family run business and they are so helpful with allergies and cater as much as possible for the customer. Really tasty food and it's never disappointed. Really good portions and really friendly staff. I've always ordered takeout because the bookings for the restaurant is always full and it's full for a reason but takeaway has been above and beyond. If I ever fancy Thai food it's always been Baan Pad Thai as they have always come through with top authentic food.”

“Amazing restaurant! First time going to Mint Kitchen as my regular is slipping down hill. The food was ready waiting for me to collect, nice portion sizes, though mint kitchen rice portions are slightly smaller than what I'm used to but all that means is I can actually finish a meal with no left overs. The chicken was really juicy with "no bad bits" (The wife is picky with meat). I think Mint Kitchen is my new regular when it comes to a curry!”

“Tried the Dahi Poori, Tandoori Lamb Loin Chops, Moradabadi Chicken Biryani and Mango Lassi. Everything tasted delicious. If l was to nitpick I’d have liked a little more lamb for a £15.95 starter. Service was attentive. Definitely try the Biryani one of the better variants.”
