“I very rarely write reviews but I went in and asked for advice on some scratches that I have on my car to see if they could recommend anything I could buy to get them off. The staff were so friendly and offered to try and polish the scratches out, the scratches are now barely visible and did this completely free of charge, which they didn’t have to do. “I am so impressed with the quality, comfort and service. We bought the Newbury sofa + pouffe in Avelino fabric and we're finally comfortable for the first time in 6 years. We went to the showroom twice to sit on it and it was a very chilled experience as no one was hassling us like in other stores. We waited 7 weeks and it was a very straightforward experience; the deposit and the remainder before delivery. The sofa was very competitively priced too. Absolutely chuffed with it.”

“Visited Grindhouse for a quick bite and a coffee to avoid the usual big chains that you can't move for falling over. Friendly staff and service. Had scrambled eggs on sour-dough and I have to say - eggs are easy to get completely wrong and I was very happy that these were completely right! The coffee was also very, very good. My better half had the French toast and reported that it was "very nice" (high praise!) and just the right amount not to make you feel like Jabba the Hutt.”

“Big store with reasonable prices. There are lots of cheap snacks such as cakes, crisps, nuts, biscuits etc. Good choice for students or those who want to save money. However, I could not find trolleys. There were only some medium sized baskets.”
