βWhat an amazing place. I've had counselling and reflexology. The staff have been wonderful and I'll always be grateful for their wonderful support and careβ
βExcellent service, compassionate therapist who was approachable, sensitive and professional.β
βmy daughter has started seeing a lovely lady here and so far I have no complaints - she answered my request straight away too!β
βI cannot speak highly enough of my experience with this centre. The care and compassion Sandra showed during our very first phone call was sincere and genuinely heartfelt. She took the time to really listen and I had every confidence she had the necessary insight to find the right therapist from the centre to begin sessions with my daughter. To have this level of care from the very start was so reassuring. Sandra really respects that it takes courage to make that first phone call and she holds space for you at a time when you most need it. I have every confidence in the therapist Sandra has put us in touch with and knowing that she is still available as a point of contact is such a wonderful support. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service.β
βI had a good experience with this company. They kept me updated when it came to appointments and if they had to be cancelled etc. I had Ruth as my therapist and she was great, very understanding always made me positive after an appointment.β
βIdk why people don't like this it's great!β
βI have received amazing support and care from the team at the Priory for anxiety and depression, Dr Bamrah and Kinga Oldham have equipped me with a toolbox of strategies for coping with day to day life and as a result I am in a massively better place now than when I was referred. They have completely transformed my life for the better!β
βAbsolutely excellent service. I got seen really quickly. I had some therapy here with Meredith in 2023. She was amazing. Always listened. Never pushed me and really helped me going forward. I am due to do a referral for more therapy soon.β
βMy CBT therapist has supported me all the way when no one else was there. I have changed my lifestyle while coming here to become better like quitting smoking, starting the gym, taking my anti depressants which have helped me tackle some of the things going on in my head and in my life. Itβs not gone away, there are days I still struggle very much and I still have so much more to overcome. I seen all the bad reviews and Iβm sorry you had a negative experience, but I just wanted to share my positive experience attending this therapy.β
βI have had a lot of health issues over the past year or so. I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Stepping Hill from cleaners to consultants. They all do an amazing job with very little resources or thanks. Always grateful for my treatment and care by everyone at the hospital.β
βTracy, Lisa and Katie have helped us so much in helping our teenager deal with overwhelming emotions. They've been really kind and supportive and given us some really useful information and techniques. I can't thank them enough, they're fantasticβ
βI was at one of the lowest points of my life , struggled to keep my self safe . Felt a failure to loved ones and self . Moorside unit helped to save my life . Am so so great full for their input . Without it I would not be here today . My children have their mother . Thank you Moorside unitβ
βVery surprised to read some of the poor comments on this excellent service. I have had 2 kids go through this service and I have honestly never seen such consistently high levels of professionalism, compassion and empathy. I understand that when your child is sick, it is easy to get upset, scared and emotional. These are normal reactions, particularly when mental health is concerned. However my experience is of a high quality service delivered by deeply committed professionals. Iβd like to mention in particular Mr K Singh, Ms J Lowndes, Dr. Knott, and all the other practitioners that supported both my kids over the years. Thanks to their support, my kids are in much better places than they wouldβve been. It is true that NHS waiting times to access CAMHS are extremely long, and I agree that this aspect of the system could and should be better. However, once families are seen, the quality of care provided should not be overshadowed by wider systemic pressures that are beyond the control of frontline staff. Our experience has been one of genuine care, skill and dedication, and I remain very grateful for the support my family received.β
βI'm quite shocked at some of these reviews. My 9 year old accessed this service and we both found it really helpful. Not sure if I am able to name people, but our case worker was absolutely brilliant and just totally 'got' my daughter! He came up with some strategies to help my daughter copy with her anxiety day to day. I never expected my child to be 'fixed' but she has definitely learnt slowly to deal with her anxiety as part of her personality and is now able to use coping mechanisms with the help of the adults around her.β
βMy husband was rushed to Salford Royal after a very bad fall. They did many MRI scans he had several fractures, broken ribs and other damage. Staff on the ICU were wonderful, we cannot thank them enough for the care they gave him and our family. Sadly he passed away after seven days. I know how hard it can be on nurses when they loose a patient. So thank you nurses on ICU 2β
βStill long waiting times to be seen. But vending machine , access to free drinking water and comfortable seating make the wait more bearable. Staff doing a great job. Having to deal with some difficult people.β
