“Outstanding pub. Situated a twenty minute walk, depending on fitness, from Kearsley train station. Walk is downhill there but obviously uphill back. Easily accessable from Farnworth by bus. Child and dog friendly. Lovely country pub decor, with a main room and little quieter nooks at the front. Bar is small so there will probably be queueing. Said to be one of the top five pubs in Bolton area and I heartily agree. I had a wonderful chilly con carnie and my wife had the cheese and onion pie, she said it was the best homemade cheese and onion pie shes ever had in a pub, amazing chef & staff and we should know because weve been in quite afew. Car park and beer garden at the back. Beautiful setting”

The food is next level , I mean full of flavour, deep rich and colourful and tastes out of this world , I can also add that one of my party asked for a curry with not a lot of spice , she was over the moon with the dish she received , they really took care of that situation and made her feel at home , all served in a timely manner with excellent attentive and engaging staff Well done Exotic Lounge , your team has made without doubt the best Indian restaurant for both food and service for miles around . “Brilliant place.......Went at 10am with my 22 month old nephew. Didn't need to book, might possibly need to on certain other days if a special activities day. Possibly best to ring and check. Lovely friendly staff. Great menu for food and drinks. Lots of tables and chairs to sit at. Extremely clean in all areas. Lots of choice for under 3 year olds to play. Different areas for different ages. Overall a great find. Would definitely recommend 10/10.”

“Just had a child's party here, very good all staffed made my daughters party fantastic, we privately hired and had the gold package and all kids got a slushy with there food and they loved it. It took the stress out of sorting the party I just had to turn up and everyrhing was done the cake was sliced up party bags done. The place was very clean before they party and they kept onto throughout our stay, after the party it was cleaned up very quickly for the next. Loads of seating lots of space and didn't feel crowded, would give 10/10 for this place and would recommend for a child's party place at a very good price for what we got ( we think so)”
