Unique in Prestwich

“Was excited to visit Hea as I'd seen it last time I went to Prestwich but had already eaten at the makers market. We finally went on the weekend and it didn't disappoint! It's a small cafe so you might not find a seat quickly as when we went it was busy, but luckily the table in the window was available. There's lots to choose from on the menu such as Hong Kong style sandwiches, toast, and street food, as well as Hong Kong tea, coffee and bubble tea (but there are also normal teas and coffees). We ordered the ham and egg sandwich, satay steak sandwich and pistachio toast. Unfortunately some of the wraps are limited to summer months but we hope to try those next time. The wait was a bit long as it was busy, but it was worth the wait!! All very tasty and reasonably priced, especially if you go for the set menu. I definitely want to come back and try everything else!”

“A great little bar with a good selection of changing beers on draught and an extensive selection of bottled beers which you can also drink in the bar with a small additional charge. There is some outside seating too. Well worth a visit if you are in Prestwich.”

“What can I say about this place! It's an unassuming studio but once you walk in you get welcomed with an offer of a brew and made to feel comfortable from the off. I had my tattoo from laura but every artist was happy to talk and made you feel inclusive of their studio. Excellent craic, top notch artists, spotlessly clean. All round good eggs with a cracking atmosphere.”

“We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”

“Second time here first time just as amazing as the first! Food is exceptional and portions are amazing! Food made fresh ...no pre packed or reheated food here which in itself is refreshing! Staff are very friendly and helpful and atmosphere is fab! Could not finish all my food and they happily put it in take away box for me! I enjoyed it again that much i will be going back again this week with my children! My new favourite place would highly reommend”

“Robie did the floristry for our wedding in April 2023 and I would highly recommend him. He was really friendly and easy to deal with. He took time to understand what we wanted and delivered something incredible on the day - it was better than what we had imagined and several people commented how beautiful and breathtaking the flowers looked. I have the veggie breakfast and I was skeptical at how good broccoli would be on an 11am meal but I didn't need to be! This breakfast delivered. The broccoli, the hummus the Potatoes each bit was tastier then the last!”

“Krave Coffee is a lovely cafe in Whitefield with plenty of free parking outside. The staff are all cheery and polite and the food is well cooked and neatly presented on your plate. Theres no step at the door and a ramp inside so easy walking for older customers and easy access for wheel & push chairs. We both had the small english and I swapped out those nasty mushrooms and tomatoes (my own taste I just dont like them) for another Grandads Sausage. The Americano was spot on and I would go back here just for another cuppa probably have some cake as well. Lunch menus when I asked are only served on weekdays. The seating inside is very comfortable, and theres also tables and chairs outside. A disabled toiket is also located at the back.”

“Despite my slight hesitation at using a homeopathic practitioner, I was immensely impressed with his medical knowledge and I learned considerably more about my pain in this consultation than in all the other consultations with other medics combined. Long story short - he advised me to slightly increase the standard over the counter painkiller I was currently taking by 50% (which he sold along with other less conventional medicines) and said I should expect results in 3 weeks time. “First time in here and it's a lovely local pub, friendly staff, very clean throughout, TVs to watch the sport on and a beer garden outside just opposite Heaton Park. Good range of beers and some sambucas I had never heard of but were lovely as shots.”
