“Gorgeous space with the best staff. One of the few truly independent places like it in Manchester, who put the time and care into putting on events geared towards community rather than just trying to flog as much booze as possible. The kind of place where you get not one but TWO little biscuits with your coffee!”
“Had the full English breakfast as did hubbie - quality ingredients, non greasy, cooked to perfection. Daughter had steak baguette and sil salmon with scrambled eggs. All of the food was delicious, served hot and well presented. Service good and considering the quality / portion sizes good value.”
“Nice place for a quiet drink with a great selection of craft beers and wines. They also had a really good range of wines and spirits for sale. A cosy place to sit and watch the village go by!”
“Always great to visit here - lots of lovely items to look at & buy! Large selection of Cards for all occasions as well as quirky homeward items”
“Great locals bar that is justly proud of its real ale championed by the manager. Well worth a visit. Full range of Hydes beers. Paulicarus on his first visit. A few too many TV's for me.”
“Love this place, it truly is a hidden gem in Wilmslow. My sanctuary to go and work in peace, staff are amazing from Becky leading the way with her big smile it really feels like home. Food as you can see is always yummy and allows me to be at peace whilst working or even if friends want to pop in to have lunch it's the best treat for loved ones!”

“This is a generally busy Nero coffee shop located near Manchester Royal Hospital and Manchester University. It is very close to the Whitworth Gallery. I like the coffee in Nero coffee shops. It is generally consistent. The staff in this particular branch are always friendly and helpful with good service. They keep the place tidy. My only criticism is that like many Nero Coffee shops the furniture is looking somewhat tired and in need of a refresh.”
“Three of us had Christmas Day lunch here. We were very, very pleased with the meal, drinks and first class service from all the staff. It is a joy to visit this pub any day. Always made to feel welcome. Thanks to all. See you again soon.”
“I followed Helen for a while before deciding to ask her to upcycle my bureau. I’m so glad I did! The care she takes with each item is reflected in the finish. She kept in touch every step of the way when decisions were needed with colours, wallpaper, finishing touches; always able to offer advice on the right products to use. I’m extremely pleased with the finished result.”
“Should probably start with other people’s feedback. Firstly a joiner who was doing other work for us said he had never seen a better kitchen and that there are not many companies in the country who build to this quality. Secondly all our friends and family who have visited so far have been amazed by the transformation and without exception say it’s perfect especially for us and how we use the space. From our perspective I only have 2 words First Class!!! The experience has been first class from our first planning meeting with Andrew through the installation process and then the post installation support all led by Gary and supported by the fantastic technicians. The end result has met all my ‘requests’ made during the design process and is better than I could have imagined. It makes me smile every time I walk through the door. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking about getting a kitchen of your dreams”
