βJoelle W, in Bedford was absolutely amazing. I was not familiar with Bedford and when I showed up to the property I was greeted by a huge smile and a very informative young lady. She gave me enough time to look around and ask questions. I would highly recommend speaking with herβ
βGreat theatre. Fabulous staff and the production value of the shows we've seen has been spot on!β
βCan get very busy at the weekend. Check the facebook page for different themed events. Saturday 10-2pm typically is PokΓ©mon time, where an army of kids trade and buy cards. They have a good selection of drinks and custom milkshakes. Aswell as food menu items. Good for kids and adults of all ages. Ps: they also have a free board game area with a wide selection of board games to play for free. (But also buy).β
βNeat and clean cafe on Bedford high street. Prices are reasonable, food is amazing, variety of food and drinks to choose from and most importantly staff is really welcoming.β
βSuch a bright, large hall. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Hired the hall back in May for my daughters party. Family and friends who donβt know the area were very impressed with the hall as were we not having used it before. Will definitely hire again in the future.β
βI recently visited the Sharnbrook School Community Center for cricket net practice, and I was thoroughly impressed with the facilities available! This center is a fantastic hub for anyone passionate about leisure and sports. The variety of activities offered is truly remarkable, including netball, badminton, a well-equipped gym, basketball, squash, and, of course, cricket. The cricket nets were in excellent condition, providing an ideal environment for practice. I found the space to be clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a great training session. What really stood out to me was the friendly and supportive atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and eager to help especially Debby she was really nice and helpful, making the overall experience even better. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to have some fun and stay active, Sharnbrook School Community Center has something for everyone. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a great spot to engage in sports and leisure activities. I canβt wait to return for more practice and to explore the other facilities they offer.β

βWe got dragged, kicking and screaming, to the track play day at Bedford athletic stadium. 4 different sizes of trains to play with, including ride ons, hot wheels tracks, a bouncy castle, optional face painting and snack bar. It is wild!! Great fun, loads for us dads to help the kids with. I'm not sure when the next one is, but if you and the kids love trains, get booking!β
βAlways super helpful whenever I go there. Chap cutting the wood this time was great. Aways my go to for diyβ
βStaff are very helpful and friendly. Well maintained and clean facilities. A school which takes and active role in participating in the community and with families.β
βI have trained here for awhile and found it to be a friendly welcoming club, excellent instructor with some excellent support staff, so if youβre looking for a light hearted class in the Bedford area this would be the first port of callβ
βExcellent Nightingale ASC Provision. Teachers are awesome and helpful with my work. Made a few loyal friends there. Students are very well-mannered and hard-working. Although limited on subjects and on an environment no better than a secondary school, but otherwise, my time at Mark Rutherford were one of the best years of my life. Keep it up!β
βMy dad recently had to spend a a few days in hospital due to battery's exploding and all the staff involved in his care were amazing and looked after him so well. Always making sure he was comfortable, out of pain and if he needed anything. When my sisters and I visited they even got us a chair to make us comfortable while we were visiting. Can't thank them enough for taking such good care of our dad. Thank you. Amazing care from when he arrived to when he left.β
βGreat little theatre, staging is welll done and each seat has a decent view of the performance no matter where you sit, the amenities could do with an update, toilets are a little sad looking and the water pressure for the taps stops when anyone flushes, the refreshment selection could also do with a few more options. The staff are outstanding however, everyone is friendly and chatty, I think most are volunteers, which is always nice to see, from the lads helping parking to the people ushering to seats, not a bad word to be said. Have visited a few times and never a bad experience, tickets are well priced and everyone clearly has a love for the performance on and off the stageβ
βLovely little charity cafe that is a pleasure to spend time in - skip the Starbucks and come here instead! Their drinks are ridiculously cheap as they aren't out to make a profit but are just as good quality as any other cafe's. The food selection is more limited but they get lovely cakes in on Mondays - well worth writing in your calendar! However, the building is more than a cafe: it is definitely a warm and welcoming community space. The cafe has a corner filled with board games and puzzles, you are welcome to work/hold meetings there, and there are weekly craft sessions, soup kitchens and more. You know you'll be met with a friendly smile and that any money you do spend there will go directly to a good cause.β
βI have used this shop for many years and can recommend it very highly. Itβs recently had a bit of a facelift and is much the better for it. Bait is always good and have always been able to get anything Iβve needed with all major brands stocked. Highly recommended and much loved tackle shop.β
βExcellent theatre, really friendly & helpful staff. Great facility for disable children. Car parking right outside the front door too.β
βUnforgettable Yoga with Adorable Goats! Our visit to Animal Edge farm was simply amazing! The outdoor flow yoga class with the goats was a unique and heartwarming experience. Afterwards, we got to pet and feed the friendly farm animals and enjoyed delicious smores by the pit fire. The combination of yoga, nature, and adorable goats made it a unique and unforgettable experience. A big shoutout to Danielle and Julie for creating such a wonderful environment to reconnect with nature and animals. Highly recommended for a few hours of nature, yoga, and fun!β
βHad my Dads wake here yesterday. Thank you for looking after us all and the food you provided was amazingβ¦..Thank you Audra β€οΈβ
βReally interesting place to visit, once the headquarters of the Panacea Society and home of 'Octavia,' the daughter of God (according to the followers,!) The Society was a Southcottian sect that really established itself in the years following the Great War and when the last member died in the first decade of the 21st century the Society ended and a charitable trust took over the properties and opened them as a museum. It's a fascinating window into a movement that was very significant in the 1920's and 30's but has largely been forgotten now. The museum is a real time capsule and it's free to visit. Peaceful gardens, preserved interiors, an incredible story and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. If you're in Bedford it's a must!β
βWelcoming pub in quiet neighbourhood with beer garden. Nice beers, friendly service and locals. I don't know if food is served but I was able to sit outside with my fish and chips.β
