“Atmosphere was buzzing, everybody seemed happy & relaxed. Caitlin the manager is brilliant and knows to keep staff & customers happy. Food was fresh and tasty, I was served by Antonia, very polite and friendly. Goes the extra mile to make sure everything is ok. Credit to Nando’s . “Best Neapolitan pizza in Nottingham. I have tried this pizza place 4 times since the first day they opened and I can say that they are doing amazing! After they trip and travels to Italy, they have gain the experience of the proper Neapolitan cuisine and they have brought it directly to Nottingham. Excellent flavor and perfect pizza dough: soft, elastic and with a raised crust. With most of the ingredients directly imported from Italy, the quality is 10. But pizza is not the only think they have, we tried the chili chips the first time we went and we loved them! Now is one of our must when we go. They also have antipasti boards, garlic dough balls and amazing desserts! If you cannot decide with the pizzas my favorite one is the Nduja pizza! A spicy and spreadable pork salami from Calabria.”

“Amazing lasagna, the best I've had outside of Italy. We had la zucca, butternut squash, and la romana that had the best ragu and taste. Made me think of the ragu a la bolognese you get anywhere in Bologna. Good choice of starters and deserts. We had tiramisu. Really fluffy mascarpone on top, really nice and light. I would use more coffee in the recipe though, but really good nonetheless. Like the choice of wine too. Can't wait to come again to try the other lasagna.”

“We were dropping our son to the University of Nottingham end of September and stumbled upon Compà in Beeston on our first night of arrival. It was our son’s suggestion and we decided to check it out! I am so glad we did! The food was delicious and it was like visiting a family - cosy, warm ambiance and pretty lights inside that made it feel festive and special on a week night. We were pretty tired after flying from US to London, than taking a train to Nottingham the next morning so it was especially nice to sit down and take time to enjoy this place, yummy food while we planned next few days. We stroke a conversation with the owner who turned out to be such a wonderful kind person and it made us feel even more comfortable and welcome. It was a lovely experience and a warm welcome. “I loved my visit to see Kinky Boots at the Theatre.. my 1st visit in over 20 years. I was so chuffed to get a wheelchair seat and one where my sister (carer) could be with me too. She helped me and made sure I was okay everywhere. The view from accessible seating is a touch restricted as it's under the dress circle at the back of the stalls (any action high up is hard to see but as most happens at stage level.. all was good and I loved the show. It's got to be good views as its at the side of the lighting desk and they need to see too! See my video for your view.”

“We love the Lion, the beer is impeccably kept and there are lots of real ales. The food is good and very popular. There are regular quizzes and live music at the weekends. The pub attracts a diverse customer base, a real social mix of ages and background and I think this adds to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's also very much a dog pub, there are dog beds available and dog snacks too. I thoroughly recommend a visit to The Lion.”

“I recently had a visit to this lovely restaurant with a group of friends. Parking: There is a limited car parking at the front with around 10-12 vehicle space. The restaurant has a very beautiful entrance with a small garden and water like fountain. Food: The food was all of good portion and was very delicious. They even catered and fulfilled our request to make the food a bit spicy. The food arrived in good timely manner as well. Seating: The seating was nicely laid out for our group. And there were plenty of other seats as well. We were provided with a separate room which was big enough for our group. Disabled access. Although we didnt have anyone who needed the need. However, for other disabled customer info, there is stairs which might be a bit of challenge to go to the restaurant from the car park entrance. Price: The price per customer was roughly 25£ for starters main and side dish. Excluding drinks. Staff and Service: Staff were nicely dressed and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have the thai food.”
