“Visited Monks Park Working Men’s Club on a Sunday with a group of friends, and we had a really good time. We joined in with the bingo, entered the raffle, and had a few friendly games of pool — exactly the kind of relaxed afternoon we were after. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a nice community atmosphere throughout. Drinks were reasonably priced, and it felt like the kind of place where everyone looks out for each other. We’d definitely visit again — and who knows, maybe even become members if we can! A great spot for a laid-back Sunday with friends, assuming one is a member.”

“Just had our first home delivery of fish & chips. Excellent service, food was piping hot and delivery way ahead of the advisory time. Third meal we have had from Spot On and they have all been excellent. Perfectly happy with the entire experience from shop service, to home delivery and the range of food on offer.”

“Went there last Saturday to watch the football and was a really lively accommodating pub with really pleasant bar staff. Gave me the remote when I wanted to watch the second game lol. They had music on after the football, they have a pool table and bandits so what else could I ask for. Oh and a really nice beer garden out the back which is enclosed in its own little hideaway.”

“I ordered a well done steak and even though I prefer mine a little more well done it was really tasty. The meal was a great size and every part of it was lovely. I didn't eat it all just what I put on my plate. I will definitely order from there again. Sometimes it's just nice to have something a bit different to pizza and kebabs.”

The ribs were huge and perfectly seasoned and cooked so the meat fell from the bone. The chicken fried rice could not have been cooked any better. I have tasted better curry sauce, but the rest of it was so good, I can't drop a star. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere was amiable. My sister had Thai and that was perfect too.Went back with a friend a couple of years later and still clean. Served by Martin, who made our meal even better!”

The service was absolutely first class. The staff were all very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. We will definitely be returning for another visit as there's plenty on the menu I want to try. Thank you once again.”
