“Lovely little shop.. popped in for some refreshments on a hot day. Very welcoming”
“Great local pub in the heart of town”
“Amazing food, been in Northampton now for just over a year and struggled to find a decent takeaway that we enjoyed, however with here it was great . I had a Adana kofte which was perfectly seasoned but also had great portions . My partner had the vegetarian mousakka and was also delighted. Furthermore when the order arrived the delivery driver was very kind and polite , overall fantastic experience and great food , definitely will be ordering from here again and trying the restaurant post covid.”
“Best place EVER! lovely people, happy service, great conversation. Clean tidy environment, baby and kid friendly... Highly recommend”
“The best food I ever ate! Very friendly staff! Will back with pleasure!”
“Little might be in the name but that no way reflects the huge variety of stock that nestles upon its shelves.”
“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”
“My second time visiting here, and the first with one of my boys. Very welcoming place for motorcyclists, the cooked breakfast was delicious, coffee was served in a nice big mug, and the atmosphere is very calm. Always seems to be aircraft out on the airfield and being flown, to enjoy as a spectator. Highly recommended.”
“Absolutely amazing !! Honestly best sushi I’ve ever had, best hidden secret in Northampton! Must visit”
“Situated adjacent to Corkers on the Wellingborough Road, this Indian restaurant is set out across one large pleasantly decorated room. Excellent service was apparent the moment we walked in with wait staff demonstrating the sort of attentiveness I haven't seen in a while. Shout out to Suresh, who was dressed in traditional Royal Rajasthan clothing. He was friendly, courteous and really looked after us. We decided on the set menu, where you get a sample of the most popular dishes, including starters and dessert, this was really enjoyable and tasty, with the meat being very tender and the plates beautifully presented. Price wise, it's certainly more expensive than most other Indian restaurants in the area; set menu for two plus a bottle of decent wine, and a JD and coke to open proceedings was just over £100. Will definitely return with friends.”
“Lovely hotel! Décor is really nice from the restaurant to the rooms. Staff are amazing and will do anything to support you having the best stay.”
“Well stocked shelves at 17:30 on a Saturday, and quick movement through the checkouts.”
“One of the best curries I have ever had! Travelled further afield because we fancied a change was worth the trip! Full of flavour, fresh ingredients and big portions! Will definitely be coming back!”
“Amazing place, great atmosphere and lovely people !”
“First visit to this restaurant and now we have been will definitely be coming back again soon as it was lovely. We have plenty other first class Indian restaurants nearby but I think this one just edged it in front of the others. No complaints with anything, good food, draught lager, really flavour packed meals and friendly and attentive staff.”
“This place is a lovely gem in Wellingborough! The food was great and the staff went beyond to make our tine very special! Thanks to Kiera, Amy and the whole team. We recommend and will return!”
“First time trying food here for lunch - it was so good!! Had the tuna/ cheese melt panini and thick chips and my husband had the vegetarian pizza - both were really good! Lots of tuna in the melt and the chips were smothered in cheese! Would definitely recommend!!!”
“It’s really nice, nicely designed, always coming in because they’ve got everything you could possible think of, burgers, wings, kebabs, fries, loaded fries, sides of anything, waffles, milkshakes, cookie dough, brownies and so much more. It’s cheap and really good.”
“Awesome pub with friendly staff. The land-lady laid on a buffet for my wife's birthday party which we held in the lounge area. We had the whole lounge to ourselves and the hire was free (takings at the bar). Highly recommend. They have great bands on there as well. Food is fab too.”
“We were passing through town, our elderly disabled mum desperate for toilet amenities, the young girl at bar was sooo helpful, and even opened back gate for ease of access for mum. So very grateful to her and thats what you call caring people. Next time will definitely stay for drink or two. Thank you.”
“A few weeks ago I threw an impromptu hen do for my friend here. It was a Saturday so very busy but Sarah and the team did a brilliant job accommodating us. The food and drink was amazing, beautiful decor and the karaoke made it! Thank you so much guys - highly recommend. This place is a gem!”
“Had a lovely breakfast here.. so nice me and my girl came back the next day”
“Always great food great prices and great quantities, guys are always friendly and welcoming.”
“We hired Poojas to cater for a surprise party. They were easy to contact and straightforward to organise with. Friendly too and nothing was a problem. We needed nut free which was not a problem. They delivered food on time and it was still hot. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Everyone enjoyed. Would highly recommend. Thank you.”
“Lovely food. Kind staff. Good value for money”

“Great food definitely recommend. Great staff too. Just in shop feels like been built 100 years ago :)”
“Best kebab I have had, friendly staff, always busy.”
“I rarely post reviews but on this occasion just felt I should share my experience at The Bell Inn this afternoon. So, a last minute decision lead to an impromptu visit for Sunday lunch, and we were very surprised to find just a handful of locals in attendance. Surprised considering the Sunday Roast was exemplary and very reminiscent of hearty, home cooked, Sunday Roasts. The meal was very reasonably priced too (x3 guests, x3 roasts, x3 sweets and x3 drinks. Grand total £66 (ie £22pp), awesome value). Highly recommended if you like an authentic British Sunday Roast as opposed to those tasteless ‘generic pub roasts’ that resemble supermarket meals. The lunch choices were somewhat limited but maybe that’s a good thing because the food actually tasted freshly prepared & cooked, and was truly flavoursome. Our thanks go out to the friendly staff (and locals) for a really pleasant, authentic, no frills, Sunday Lunch dining experience. We’ll definitely return when next in Finedon.”
