“We got dragged, kicking and screaming, to the track play day at Bedford athletic stadium. 4 different sizes of trains to play with, including ride ons, hot wheels tracks, a bouncy castle, optional face painting and snack bar. It is wild!! Great fun, loads for us dads to help the kids with. I'm not sure when the next one is, but if you and the kids love trains, get booking!”
“The space is clean and professional and the room was cosy. I really appreciated the free parking, especially being so close to the town center. I had a one-hour reiki session with Yanni and I was able to relax as it was pretty quiet.”
“Excellent base in Bedfordshire for walking the John Bunyan Way. Very comfortable and excellent location”
“I have a great time whenever I train here. Sidney the coach is great at unpacking techniques to novices such as myself, and everyone has a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude. There is also a strong emphasis on physical conditioning, with plenty of stretching and intense interval training, which I really appreciate. All for an impressively low price.”
“Great gym, great atmosphere, welcoming to all levels of experience and fitness. Fairly priced, and Nice people too!”
“Towers Health & Racquets Club is a great place to train and unwind. The gym has a good range of equipment, and the courts are always in good condition. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed but professional. It can get a little busy at peak times, but overall it’s a great club to visit even as a guest.”
“Adele is amazingly warm and friendly and a great communicator. I have just started the beginners yoga and having never done yoga before I have already found it so beneficial and can't wait to come back every Wednesday evening. Loved first session so much so, I came back for an extra yin yoga class which was great. The facilities are lovely and very warm - the underfloor heating was a very good decision! Well done Adele and team you have a really lovely place and would definitely recommend anyone to take a visit to one of Adele's classes and see what all the fuss is about :) Mia x”
“I recently visited the Sharnbrook School Community Center for cricket net practice, and I was thoroughly impressed with the facilities available! This center is a fantastic hub for anyone passionate about leisure and sports. The variety of activities offered is truly remarkable, including netball, badminton, a well-equipped gym, basketball, squash, and, of course, cricket. The cricket nets were in excellent condition, providing an ideal environment for practice. I found the space to be clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a great training session. What really stood out to me was the friendly and supportive atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and eager to help especially Debby she was really nice and helpful, making the overall experience even better. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to have some fun and stay active, Sharnbrook School Community Center has something for everyone. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a great spot to engage in sports and leisure activities. I can’t wait to return for more practice and to explore the other facilities they offer.”
“Really enjoying the 'able' workouts and fitness classes at Fitness First. The swimming pool and sauna are both an added bonus. I would recommend to anyone thinking of joining a gym or simply want to improve overall fitness.”

“Only commenting on playing badminton there but staff are friendly, facility is clean and bright and not cold in winter.”
“Beth and her team are running a truly fantastic service clinic for the community, offering top-quality sports therapy sessions. Their dedication, knowledge, and professionalism are second to none. Every visit is met with care, attention, and a genuine desire to help people recover, improve, and feel their best. The clinic embodies the high standards and excellence you’d expect from Bedfordshire University — a real example of how academic skill and community service can come together perfectly. It’s inspiring to see such commitment and passion in action. I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. An amazing team providing an amazing service. Thank you, Beth and team of students, for all the incredible work you do!”

“I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding swimming lessons my children receives at Kempston pool. The progress they have made has been brilliant, and I attribute much of this success to the exceptional way the instructors attend to the children. I have been particularly impressed by: * Individual Attention: Despite managing a group, the instructors consistently notice individual needs. Whether it's correcting a specific technique or offering a word of encouragement to a hesitant child, they provide personalised feedback effectively. * Patience and Encouragement: The instructors demonstrate remarkable patience and have a wonderful, positive attitude that clearly motivates the children. They celebrate small successes, which really boosts confidence. * Clear Communication: They explain techniques in a way that is easy for children to understand, adapting their approach as needed. * Creating a Safe & Fun Atmosphere: My children feel safe and supported in their lessons. The instructors balance learning with fun, making it an experience my children genuinely look forward to each week. Seeing how well my children are cared for and how attentively they are taught has been wonderful. Please pass on our thanks to the instructors for their dedication and skill. We are delighted with the programme.”
“So yes, it is an old pool, but the pros massively outweigh the cons and there are some quite unreasonable reviews here. Pros:- 33 metre pool, Lovely staff, Lovely community vibe, Wide lanes, More flexible swimming times, Properly hot showers, Big changing cubicles (useful if you're 6ft3 like me) Decent pool temperature so you can really go for it when you swim. Cons:- It is old so there are rust marks that have built up over the decades, giving it an untidy/grubby look, although it is as clean as any other pool. Unfair and generally negative reviews about teeny things by unsympathetic people. The negative reviews about this pool stopped me trying it for 3 years and the only reason I went was because the Kempston one was closed for a period of time. It is in need of a refurbishment as it is an old pool, but it isn't any dirtier than any other pool I've been to. The one in Barnet North London is pretty much a brand new centre, and I've seen that one in significantly worse states than Robinsons due to customers being gross and disrespectful. So, if you want to go swimming in a nice, well maintained, historical pool with a great community vibe, nice respectful people, spacious lanes, is open when you want, and you can understand that it has battle scars from years of service, then this is the pool for you.”
