“Absolutely love it here. Amazing seats, most days have a deal that make tickets super cheap, lovely service. Since moving back to Daventry I've become a regular. Only critiques are that the food is pricey (but it's still better priced than competitior cinemas) and that the film selection can be limited (but that's natural considering the size). Overall it's an awesome cinema and I can only recommend it if you're in the area.”

“Just had pizza delivered to the hotel while we were staying nearby and I can honestly say its the nicest pizza ive had in a long time!! 100 times better than papa johns or pizza hut etc. Just wish I lived local to have these on a regular basis!”

“We was given a tour round the college for my son starting in September. All the staff was lovely and very helpful and welcoming. The college is well structured and measures put in place for covid. I believe my son will be very happy there.”

“Alacati Grill is the best restaurant in town hands down. The food is always freshly made. I had the kebab yoghurt and the wifey had the chicken wings. Both of them are very good. They have a menu for children and that is also fresh, not frozen and then microwaved. The place has a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of wine or cocktails to choose from. My go to place when friends are in town.”

“Paul Rowles Kitchens designed and installed a fantastic new kitchen for us as part of an extension project and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Working from our very basic brief they came up with a brilliant, contemporary design which gets the most out of the space and has helped transform our home. Building an extension is a slightly nerve-wracking experience, but the team at Paul Rowles Kitchens worked closely with our builder to make it a really seamless process for us. Seeing the computer designs they produced was not only useful in helping us decide on the kitchen, but actually contributed towards the overall success of the project, as it helped us visualise other elements of the extension that had previously only existed on an architect’s line drawing. We changed our mind on a number of elements of the design throughout the process, but nothing was too much trouble for the team at Paul Rowles, and the designer Liv offered us fantastic advice throughout on everything from worktops to appliances. When it came to installation, our fitter Phil was really friendly and extremely skilled at his job, installing the kitchen quickly and efficiently and working flexibly around other traders. From start to finish we felt like we were in very safe, capable hands, and working with people who were as excited about our new kitchen as we were. The result is a stylish, modern new kitchen that we are extremely happy with.”

“Lovely one night stay to go to a wedding at Dodford Manor- so glad we chose here instead of a characterless hotel! Lovely host and lovely little dog made us feel very welcome. The location is stunning and the room was beautifully presented and clean. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast delivered to us in the morning- the fruit compote was especially yummy. Would definitely recommend”

“We have been delighted with the service we received from Classic Range Cookers Ltd., we had to replace our aged Rayburn from a difficult location with a new Heritage Cooker, it was all well managed from the advice we received, through to removal and installation, everything went like clockwork and according to plan. The installation of the new cooker and connection to the plumbing and electrics was equally well managed and all delivered on time and left in excellent working order. We are very pleased with the Heritage Cooker providing heating, cooking and hot water, it looks great, and works well. Roger and Wendy Coy”

“I had a great experience here. Lots of boots in stock, steel toes, wellies, hiking boots, and bamboo socks. It is on an industrial estate with plenty of parking just outside. Alison was lovely and incredibly helpful, helping me to find the right size boots and was very patient whilst I tried them all on. I bought the Birkenstock steel toe boots - nice wide toe box and incredibly comfy. Highly recommended!”

“Always nice food from Canton. The best chicken balls in Daventry. Nice and crispy and not soggy and too much batter on the inside like other places. Curry is good too. Never disappoints us and we are regulars. Really nice owners and good prices.”

“The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”

“Shuckburgh Hall Deer Park (private estate) can be seen by anyone from the public footpath which crosses it, of course the deer keep their distance and it seems they can smell your approach, but that makes the glimpses of the deer more precious. There is a tall gate to pass through at any of the entrances. Parking: by the church in Lower Shuckburgh and there is a footpath, or you can walk from Flecknoe village.”
