“We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended!”

“Superb Indian restaurant tucked away in the small village of Graffham. Unexpected find, but so pleased we gave it a go. Food was excellent quality, flavours and portion sizes. Great value for money. Very friendly staff and good service. Even better was finding a dog friendly Indian (we took two medium sized, very well behaved dogs). Would visit again if ever in this area again. He recommended the sleep match and allowed us to try all the suggested mattresses. He answered every question we had. We found a mattress we love and also purchased an ex-display bed frame. Our bed is being delivered this weekend, so we can’t comment on its longevity yet, but Arjun’s customer service was exceptional. Highly recommended.”

Had a lamb madras and chicken madras - the restaurant adjusted the heat of the latter for my guest. Good range of drinks. Kingfisher and Cobra beer and spirits, liqueurs etc. Food served at table on heated metal plates. Gave us a free side dish (sag aloo). Little chocs at end. I always come here when staying in the area. Nice evening.”

“Love this store and whenever we are in MK i try to visit. They have such beautiful furniture… expensive yes but some unique pieces that you just can’t find elsewhere. Unfortunately my last visit the downstairs where they had the sale items, the lights were switched off so we couldn’t really see anything. But I’m sure if we would have asked the sales adviser he would have switched them on. Staff always very helpful.”
