“What a great experience. A night out with the lads was not a disappointment. From the traditional Turkish food to the array of drinks on offer. Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”

The flavour if the 1/2 chicken was lovely. The coleslaw felt expensive for a small portion (half a cup) that didnt really offer much more (flavour and quality) than a standard/homemade coleslaw. Otherwise, food was perfect. Covid measures - everything was regularly cleaned, there were perspex divides between us and the next table plus outside seating available. Face masks worn by all staff and customers when moving around.”

Just a shame that the place is very small - perhaps that's why the food was so good with generous portions. We came again for my 67th birthday. The service and food was fantastic. “Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening the gentleman that served us was incredible very polite and friendly.The food was amazing we got the hot mezze for starter and then got the platter for two. “Great selection of drinks and a lovely view to be had from the outside seating area that overlooks the river. I've had breakfast here, helpful, happy staff that can't do enough to ensure your experience is the best it can be. After the refurbishment it looks fresh and modern. Would defo reccomend this place. Price wise, expensive however you get what you pay for. Thanks :)”

“We had the wonderful Lily as our server who was so inviting, friendly and caring while taking our order and made sure we had enough time when choosing. We had a lovely meal for dinner that was tasty and affordable with a lovely atmosphere around us that felt comfortable and clean. We would be more than happy to come again soon and try some other things on the menu but we had a perfect evening with lovely service ☺️”

“We came to Bar + Block Steakhouse in Milton Keynes for my daughter’s birthday and had a great experience. The food was spot on and cooked perfectly, with the truffle mac and cheese being especially good – rich, creamy, and full of flavour. Our waitress, liesa, was absolutely lovely – friendly, attentive, and really made the occasion feel special, and the rest of the team were very catering and accommodating throughout. Although it was fairly quiet during our visit, it created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which we really enjoyed. A lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.”

“Lovely afternoon tea today! Brilliant selection of sweet and savoury. Tea selection was also great. All good portions and no doubt you’ll find some bits to take home with you to have later on! Service was great, all staff very friendly and approachable. Just a little suggestion, I feel as if the sweet selection could do with a break down on what some of the things are? Such as the gateau opera. There was a gel type liquid in a chocolate shell which we had no idea what it actually was so a little mentioning of what it was in the menu would be nice? Maybe a little booklet explaining what each item is, what flavours etc, make it a bit more interesting as there was other flavours that I would have love to know what was in there.”
