“This has everything a dog needs and more!! Took my boys for a long walk (hour around the fields). Well, sign posted and easy to follow. There is also a 20-minute walk. Enclosed fields for dogs to go off lead. You can hire a smaller enclosed field for your dogs to train recall or play with dogs safely. There is a swimming pool for dogs. An agility course. Grooming salon. Alpacas on site. Camp site. Finally, a perfect dog friendly cafe. They have a dog menu such as: roast dinner, pup cake, burgers, sausages, milk, and pawsecco. Then, a wide range of human meals. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are always friendly. My dogs bark, but I never feel embarrassed.”
“Fantastic venue for our Quiz and Chips evening. Kitchen/bar area was perfect for our requirements! Morley Youth FC”
“We have started using the tennis courts here. The courts are excellent. By joining LTA and paying a small subscription of £50 it's cheaper to play instead of £3 per 30 minutes. Courts are regularly available weekdays.”
“Fantastic and very funny show for our 6 year old’s birthday! Everyone loved it - kids and adults. Sam kept the children entertained for a full 2 hours. Highly recommended!”
“My family and I attended Sunday's performance of George and the Dragon. We were all completely enthralled at the skills on show. Grandsons aged 4 and 5 had differing views as to whether the dragon would appear whilst grandson aged 2 was transfixed from the animal noises at the beginning. The combination of puppetry, staging, humour, 'he's behind you' and declamation was perfectly judged. My daughters reminded me of their visits to the Da Silva puppet theatre when they were small. The explanations about the manipulations of the individual puppets and how they were made was especially interesting and several attempts have been made by now by the elder children. My 3-year old granddaughter liked the Princess best and knew the Chancellor was a fibber by his long Pinnochio-like nose, but she was outvoted by the two boys who particularly enjoyed the dragon and were disappointed that George triumphed. The speaking voices directly to the audiences were clear even for a slightly deaf grandfather, and the rolling of eyes by the young lady puppeteer and the interplay of visual humour between the two on stage was perfectly attuned to a young audience. Final words from the children - THANK YOU SO MUCH, WHY DID IT HAVE TO END? and WE HOPE WE CAN SEE ANOTHER SHOW SOON. Final words from the adults - EXCELLENT IN EVERY RESPECT, THANK YOU SO MUCH [We are just sorry we do not know the performers names].”
“The best nursery ever! Fantastic team and our two kids love every moment they spend at Hummingbird. We had quite negative experience with our previous 'factory' style nursery and really appreciate the individual attention and calm, relaxed atmosphere at Hummingbird nursery. Top marks to the whole team there!”
