“Luxury suite with warm and cosy accommodation. Everything you need for a comfortable break. Great location for us when visiting family before Christmas. Ideal 24/7 access with own key plus good parking. Erna, the host is lovely and available if needed. Continental breakfast was great, giving you the freedom to eat at your leisure. Good choices for breakfast too. We would recommend. We look forward to returning in the new year.”
“Beautifully clean and well equipped”
“We stayed here over a hot midsummer weekend and can't praise Pheasant Lodge highly enough. The accommodation was both stylish and comfortable with quality bedding and towels. Catering is easy in the well equipped kitchen and the real bonus is a private and sunny courtyard overlooking the gardens. Thank you Irene and Martin we will return.”
“Perfect for startup or small businesses needing a space to work from without the hussle and bustle of a built up area”
“This has everything a dog needs and more!! Took my boys for a long walk (hour around the fields). Well, sign posted and easy to follow. There is also a 20-minute walk. Enclosed fields for dogs to go off lead. You can hire a smaller enclosed field for your dogs to train recall or play with dogs safely. There is a swimming pool for dogs. An agility course. Grooming salon. Alpacas on site. Camp site. Finally, a perfect dog friendly cafe. They have a dog menu such as: roast dinner, pup cake, burgers, sausages, milk, and pawsecco. Then, a wide range of human meals. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are always friendly. My dogs bark, but I never feel embarrassed.”
“Excellent two night stay in a well kitted out room. Breakfast was good with a few choices.”
“My friend recommended The Pelican Inn as she had been a view times and loved it. I decided to book a table for my birthday and I have to say this was the best pub I've been to in the Norfolk area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! I loved the decor in the different areas of the pub - moving from old pub features to new! The starters were lovely and the mains even better! I had a steak which was cooked medium rare, just the way I like it (something which rarely happens), and the handmade chunky chips were to die for! Despite being full I even tried one of their desserts and I must say that topped off my whole evening! I was even tempted into buying a couple bottles from their ale store! All in all a lovely evening and a pub I would definitely recommend to others!”
“A bed and breakfast in the countryside. Near Lotus and a few minutes to Norwich made the location perfect. Has EV charging. An extremely charming and quaint place with a wonderful host. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and we will be back!”
“An lovely, cosy hotel with a homely charm. Quiet and tranquil despite being in the centre of town. The proprietors are charming and although they are not there all of the time there is a phone number to call should you need them but everything you need is provided in the imdividually decorated rooms. No it isn’t modern, no it doesn’t have some of the facilities of the ‘chain’ hotels but it more than makes up for it in uniqueness and the warm and thoughtful welcome. I would happily return any time. Thank you for reminding me of what good hotels used to be like before they all started to look the same.”
“The rooms are perfect for long business stays full cooking facilities fridge in your room, great shower, good WiFi, small gym available free of charge, good location plenty of traditional pups, great restaurants within walking distance,”
“We brought our caravan to Merryhill from a Park Holidays site a few weeks ago, looking for a quieter, less commercialised park. We intended to give it a year to see how we liked it before thinking about upgrading. However, within two weeks we were totally smitten with the park, the surroundings, and most importantly the friendly staff and park owners, John and Georgina. We saw a newer caravan in a perfect position, and having been offered a good part exchange we decided to buy it. We are surprised read some of the unpleasant comments from previous residents, I'm sure they have their reasons for these personal remarks but from our point of view we are sure we have made the right decision and look forward to many happy years here at Merryhill.”
