“What a hidden little gem and so near to home! The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very pleasant, cheerful and informative. As for the food, WOW! The presentation and the food wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin restaurant, it was that good! Will definitely be going back!!”

“Went here the other night. It was empty so I was a bit skeptical. However made to feel right at home. It was interesting we HAD to order food and drinks separately but that didn't matter. The food was passable but prices were cheap so I can deal with that. The staff were really friendly. The young woman hosting was smiley and friendly so this review is more for the customer services and vibe of the venue. Anywhere that plays Pearl Jam is a ok in my book.”

“I had this on my radar to visit for quite a while and I wasn't disappointed. Popped in for a quick one and was greeted by a lovely lady who was pleasant and helpful with the craft ales they currently had. Very nice atmosphere it was nicely busy with range of different aged people all just out for a quiet drink.”

“Went for lunch. The cafe was busy but managed to get a table for 3 of us. Lovely views infront of the glass floor to ceiling windows of the surrounding area. Prices are quite high, however this outweighed by the quality and selection of the food. I had quiche of the day which came with a plate full off salad and pasta with a door wedge size of quiche. Well worth the money! Good selection of drinks available with a promot service. The selection of cakes are definitely tempting as well. Will definitely pay another visit l.”

“What a burger, really nice. I had the Mexican burger and my daughter had the buttermilk chicken. You get a really decent size portion of chips too. I admit, burger wasn’t massive but with the chips it was really filling. Comes wrapped in ‘newspaper’ love that and then in a massive box. You get a few warm wet wipes as well. For me, love this as I have a big beard and came in handy. Top marks, will definitely be back”

“Despite being really busy they managed to seat us at a comfortable table. They advised was going to be 30 mins which we were happy at, and it was pretty much bang on 30 mins when it arrived and it was well worth the wait. The staff were very pleasant and food was spot on. “Dunelm have just recently revamped their store in Ilkeston and made an absolutely fabulous job. The store is now so light and airy, with lots of household bargains. The best thing is that they have made a cafe in the store and it us absolutely brilliant. The food is good quality and very reasonable, service is quick. The staff are so polite, helpful, and professional. They have named their cafe Pause.”
