“We've been here a couple of times since it had the refurb and I have to say they've made a really good job of it. All new carpets and upholstery give it a really clean fresh feel, the whole bar area is now open (half of it was closed off before and used as storage). Function room with a stage for parties eye. Good stuff, nice job!”

“A lovely high tea at Copper Cogs with some friends. Great service and lovely atmosphere. I noted on my booking that I was dairy free and didn’t expect much as most places still don’t cater well for it but I was delivered the most gorgeous selection of sandwiches and cakes, I was so impressed. We have eaten breakfast here too and always love it.”

Some of the customers leave a little to be desired, but on the whole - are all there to have a good time. The prices are good, the range of drinks is great and you are nearly always guaranteed to have a decent night. Makes a change from the idiots and prices in town!”
