“My daughter loves it, in her words it's amazing :)”
“Funky Studios is the PERFECT place to become ready for the performing arts industry. No matter your age or level of experience, the high quality of training and immense respect from the caring staff is the same. As someone who’s been training at Funky for almost a year now, I feel so grateful for the wonderful opportunities provided to us as well as the amazing friends that I have been able to make whilst preparing myself for drama school auditions”
“The CAT cinema is a fabulous asset to the community.Good variety of films. The quiz is great fun.Michael, who runs it, is charming and creates a friendly welcoming atmosphere.”
“We booked lessons with Sam for our first dance to avoid the dreaded shuffle and it was the best decision we have ever made. Neither of us could dance and on top of that had chosen an unusual song setting Sam quite the challenge. I hate being the centre of attention so the first dance was a moment I had dreaded but being able to focus on the choreography and my partner allowed everyone else really melt away. I never thought I would enjoy our first dance but thanks to Sam I can say I truly did. We were so focused on each other we didn't even notice the photographer on the dance floor. I would highly recommend Sam she made us feel so comfortable and gave us so much confidence we couldn't have asked for a better teacher.”
“What a tour de force 'Impotance' was! This University theatre goes from Strength to Strength! They do need to update their website about parking at weekends though....”
“Their production of Kinky boots was amazing- 10/10”
“This theatre is part of the Djanogly City Academy. We visited as part of a week long dance competition festival our daughter was competing in during the school holidays (it is not organised by Djanogly City Academy). The theatre has a tiered auditorium seating 300 people including a few wheelchair spaces on the back row accessed via a lift. The stage area is a good size and on ground floor level. There are toilets in the ground floor foyer (ladies, gents, disabled). I didn't go backstage so won't comment on that. The dancers had access to rooms on the other side of the courtyard which were used as changing rooms and a food serving area. There is a small car park on site. This is a good theatre facility which we've visited and enjoyed several times. We'll be back.”
“Great little theatre giving professional performances.”
“My daughter has been a part of the Spotlight family for around 6 years now and she has absolutely loved it since day one. She started as a tiny Junior and is about to head into Seniors, along the way she has been lucky to perform in a few theatres, doing the annual shows and a few Pantos. Her confidence has soared and she has great stage presence. The Staff here are fabulous, always friendly and very professional.”
“I joined EMS in 2023 and it has been the most welcoming and enjoyable musical theatre society I've ever had the pleasure to be involved with. They have great opportunities for performers, lots of social events, and the productions are amazing. I recommend for anyone considering joining a musical theatre group.”
“Very detailed website that shows lots of pride in the company and its deeds. Many original, thought-provoking plays and a clear interest in TiE (Theatre in Education) and engaging the audience with lots of techniques in the plays such as multi-roling and physical theatre. Could be better if they toured in a few more locations during a tour, but overall not much to improve as New Perspectives has shown their hard work and effort through the production of many diverse plays that have removed barriers and include representation.”
“My daughter does ballet, tap dancing, musical theatre, freestyle, and acrobatics with Sophie we think she's an absolutely amazing teacher the time and effort that both Sophie and Claire put into these girls and boys is brilliant”

“I’ve been going to inspire since 2015 and cant say i’ve ever had a complaint. Inspire is ran by Luke Gell who is such a pleasure to work with, behind the scenes he none-stop works to ensure we have the best training and access to the industry. Inspire is truly amazing to be a part of and is a huge part of my life!”
