“Lovely guys, great mechanics, fair prices. Just what you want when your car needs maintaining, servicing, fixing. Their courtesy cars are a very convenient bonus. I've used this garage exclusively for three years now to maintain my car. They also put it through the MoT and I've had tyres fitted there and I bought a new battery from them which I fitted myself. Well recommended!”

Sports and leisure programmes were regularly on the television. There was space to drink outdoors as well. I've chilled out outside with a pint once or twice.”

“I have been using Carl's for many years and through a change in management from the Irish couple to the Asian owners. I usually order in advance as i like my fish well done with chips and scraps all wrapped separately and they've always accommodated. Portion size is generous and can feed more than 1 person. It's practical for me as on the way home and always been able to park in front of the shop. Service is friendly and no fee for card payment. The quality of the food is good. Plenty of other options on the menu but have always stuck to the traditional fish and chips. I would recommend.”
