“We hired this venue for our daughter’s 1st birthday. The staff were brilliant, super helpful and friendly. The pizzas were brilliant and we were able to set up decorations and back drops etc before the party. The kids loved the play area and it’s great that you can see them from the cafe via a tv screen. I thought it was good value for money and the guests old and young loved it! Thanks again”

“Coffee and cake at 10 am. Beautiful cafe, nice menu but we were there for cake. Lattes were really delicious, best I've had for a long time. My friends blueberry scone looked fabulous. I am coeliac, the only option was chocolate brownie. It was fine but I would have liked more choice.”

“Visited the Lounge for breakfast with family for a little birthday get together. The place was clean & spacious. The decor was lovely too. The service was great, very fast, friendly & efficient. Now for the food, x4 luxury breakfasts & x1 ultimate breakfast . . . . wow, they were all fantastic, the presentation was great, the food was fresh & very tasty. The breakfasts were BIG & definitely well worth the money. We all enjoyed it so much, that we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making our morning a very happy one. Keep doing what you’re doing!! “We had our wedding reception here and would highly recommend. The venue has a great atmosphere and already well decorated. Everything was well organised including the coordination of deliveries with decorations and a PA system. Food was well catered for allowing us to have lots of tasty vegetarian and vegan options. Staff are friendly, all went smoothly on the day, guests (and couple!) were really happy and had lots of compliments on the venue. Thank you Kate for supporting with the organisation and Jack for running the event!”

“We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. We were given a lovely selection of fresh tasty meze and warm fresh pide bread to start. I had the Adana Kebab which tasted authentic and was absolutely delicous. Finished off with a beautiful turkish coffee. “We had a beautiful lunch at this tea room today. I had quiche with new potatoes, salad and coleslaw. My husband had cottage pie with peas. We had to wait a little while as it is cooked to order but well worth waiting for and it arrived piping hot. We ate in The Dog House as we had our dogs with us. We've had tea and cake there before but not had a meal but we'll certainly have a meal there again. A lovely walk round the lake and reasonably priced parking all added to a lovely afternoon out.”

I had the medium breakfast 2 of everything and a coffee £7.50 Best Breakfast I’ve had in Yorkshire as a Trucker. Also nice and Polite staff I’ll be stopping here again when passing”

“Popped in last week having delivered a job in Sheffield. Small cafe typical of places that I have spent years eating in. Good . Normal English full breakfast with toast and a mug of Tea. Well pleased with my breakfast. Not so good. Staff were reluctant to take Scottish fiver (plastic) . Thought the Scottish accent/ Scottish firm uniform & van outside might have been a giveaway that some Jock money might be heading your way but not keen. Normally I would have politely left ( just a thing I do) but persevered and found enough coins to scrape the meal. Thing is 99 % happy with my visit but it so early could have been 100. Still gave 5 star review though - too soft I am lol”

The coffe is spot on!☕️ staff are amazing, especially Shannon , her vibrant energy always makes me smile, especially on days when I am feeling low , and her customer service is exceptional. It's a great spot with even better people!”
