“Had a gate & screen made & fitted by this company first Mick gave me a very competitive quote for the job to be carried out On fitting day Tom & Adam arrived to fit the gate & screen on the time given both were very polite & respectful & got on with the job in hand. Once fitted the gate & screen looked excellent & we where well pleased with the results they are very robust with no maintenance work to be carried out in the future & I have all ready had compliments from my neighbours regarding how nice they look . Would recommend this company if you are looking for composite work to be undertaken.”

“This is one of those hidden gems that you will probably have passed a hundred times. One of those shops that specialises so completely that anything you didn't even know you wanted is here. I wanted acrylic eggshell paint to repaint kitchen cabinets and spent hours going to all the big DIY stores. Then I spent 20 minutes in this paint shop getting exactly what I wanted in 20 minutes for much less. They are open 7.30am to 5pm weekdays, and I think 8am to noon Saturday. You can park in their yard or in front, it looks like a house but the shop is round the back. The staff are very helpful and complete experts. And you will note that most of the other customers will be professional painters and decorators. They should have an area that's better lit, possibly with a daylight lamp, for viewing the mass of colour charts with subtle variation in tones. I promise you that you will benefit from the traditional expertise and value.”

“We booked Ace Party for our wedding at Peak Edge in August 2024. They were great to deal with and provided crazy golf, carnival games, high striker and a Photo Booth. These activities were fundamental to making the day such a success as our guests were never bored and massively added to the sense of fun. Very hard to imagine a better party equipment rental service is out there as having used them we would now not think of using anybody else.”

It’s a family-run business with loads of choice, and they can pretty much make or customise a sofa however you want. “I've had tattoos here by both Emily and Becky and all have been great experiences! Emily is amazing at colour and glitter work, she's done 3 large tattoos for me now, both of which she has designed based off very small ideas which she has transformed into amazing pieces. I started getting tattooed by Becky at the start of her apprentice journey and have continued throughout 2024/25, currently having both forearms totally covered by her work with plans to continue. It has been great to see her become more confident in her journey as well as having her beautiful artwork on my skin! She does amazing ornamental work and stippled shading that looks lovely fully healed. I'd highly recommend both as well as any of the other artists in the studio, it is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you can always find someone to talk to if you want to or sit in absolute silence and just take in the experience. The studio is clean and care is taken to ensure everything is sanitised before tattoos are started. I have never felt judged or awkward there and always feel like I am welcome and appreciated.”
