“Ate at the Alder Tree tonight for the first time, and what a great meal. Had the nachos to share for starter, this was plenty, then the steak with scampi and the mixed grill and wine, plus a couple of drinks to start with all for under £50.00. Beautiful meal well served, so couldn't fault. Will definitely be regulars in the future. Well done all the staff, you deserve it.”

“This is only my second visit here and we decided to try the carvery and we're glad we did. Quickly served at the bar for drinks and ordering food. No problem finding a table mid week but would be wise to book on a weekend. Had a choice of 3 meats, 3 sorts of potatoes and 7 vegetables. I had the beef & pork with roast potato, roast carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, Swede (thankfully not mashed) white cabbage,leeks, crackling and gravy. I didn't have a Yorkshire pudding but my husband said his was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.”

“Fantastic place! You can have your hair done by making a appointment. On Tuesday mornings from 10:45 the ladies have a lovely time together. They drink coffee/tea, talk about Jesus and pray together. They also give guidance and advice about problems we face each day and the love, kindness and fellowship is amazing. All ladies are welcome. They accept you with love and open arms. If you want to know more, pop round on a Tuesday morning and join in! It's a BLESSING!!”

Any questions I had were resolved quickly and happily without fuss. Great place for gifts and treats in Wombwell. P. S. No idea what they use, but shop smelled amazing too!”
