“Fantastic Service - Couldn't have asked for more. I found myself with a completely flat tyre from a sudden puncture. Found Nigel via google. He was with me within 10 minutes of the call, loaded the car and took me to a tyre centre, made sure they could accommodate me and even dropped me onto town on his way back. Polite, friendly and charged an honest price. THANK YOU.”

“We engaged L W Gas to service our boiler (which was long overdue). We easily set up a convenient time & date. It was thoughtful to give us the name of our guy beforehand and when Ken turned up he was pleasant, informative and efficient. Several parts were replaced yet the final invoice still came in very close to the (very reasonable) basic quote. We were very pleased with every aspect of the service.”

“I have recently bought a new desktop computer and James transferred all my data and took great trouble to make sure everything was up and running for me. Nigel visited me the following day to help untangle my mess of cables and sort out a few connectivity issues. I have been an occasional customer for many years and have total confidence in Widenet. Their customer service is second to none and they are all very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.”

“Vehicle: Fiat Panda 100HP Very impressed with Small Car Services. This is the second of two planned visits to SCS, for the same issue; to repair a broken blend flap in the ventilation system, and realign the drivers’-side door and restore a dashboard that has been poorly re-fitted by another garage. I’m afraid this is will go on a bit, but I want to fully context the heartache SCS have rectified. The Fiat/‘book’ operation to repair a broken blend flap in MkII/169 Panda or 2007/312 500 is a HUGE job - which I had researched and was expecting; remove both front doors, remove dashboard, remove metal understructure and replace the entire ventilation unit. A £2600+ job (at the time of writing). My regular garage had begun the job but found the ventilation unit is completely unavailable new - from ANYWHERE. Not even Fiat in Italy has any. My further researches proved that a second-hand unit is also/similarly unavailable. The unit from a wreck is also likely to have suffered a 30g+ impact. SCS also pointed-put you’d need to find a breaker willing to break the car open to get at it, too, which is unlikely as the breaker would only be able to charge you approx £250 for it. After a LOT of research throughout all of this, I finally found Small Car Services, who have a fix. Unfortunately, by then, my regular garage had removed the dashboard, and I’d been without my car for a full 2.5 months. I was going to get the car trailered to SCS as it was but they assured me the fix does not require the dashboard is removed. Therefore, I had the dashboard re-fitted so I could drive it to the first of my SCS appointments. Turns-out that SCS have devised a permanent, hard repair, for a broken ventilation blend flap, for an exceptionally good price. I can tell you now - it really does work! However, I was immediately, badly shocked at the overall poor re-fitment of the dashboard, by my regular garage; drivers’-side door was misaligned, there were gaps around the dashboard, the passenger airbag was not flush with the dashboard (stood proud and rocking slightly), a door rubber was pinched by the dash at one end, and there was a VERY noisy rattle from behind the climate controls (which got worse between both appointments with SCS), gouges though to the metal around the hinges. There were also quite a few minor (but still upsetting) scratches on the front doors, and around the front door shuts. I had only just parked-up at work the following day to see a dashboard fixing screw in the drivers’-side footwell. My regular garage had been excellent up to this point, so I was very surprised and quite upset. My first appointment with SCS was to fix the ventilation blend flap and assess restoration of the dashboard, and drivers’-side door issues. I had forgot to mention I’d spotted some incorrect bolt and screw fixings, and was very pleasantly surprised that SCS had spotted these and corrected what they could, inside the one day appointment. During my second appointment, SCS have addressed ALL of the remaining issues with my car - and I’ve been very impressed at the thoroughness and attention to detail. The drivers’-side door has been realigned perfectly, and ALL of the issues with the dashboard have been completely rectified. If you have a MkII/169 Panda or 2007/312 500 needing a ventilation blend flap repair - I urge you to get your car to SCS before going anywhere near having the dashboard removed. You’ll save (quite literally) months of heartache and annoyance, and a significant chuck of cash. Very many thanks to SCS, for your detailed attention to my car - you’ve not only restored my car but rectified very significant heartache.”
