“It's a lovely old building with a rustic feel, not at all too serious. Most floors and stairs are very creaky, not sure that any pair of walls are at a proper angle, but far from a criticism it shows how origonal the place is and adds a lot of charm. All staff I've met have been amazing. Food is great. Will certanly look up this place every time i'm ever in Stafford overnight.”

“Stopped off on my own on route further north. I had emailed in advance to say I would be arriving late and could I have a room in the quiet part. They responded quickly advising they are there 24/7 and they had reserved me a room. It was easy to find, plenty of parking. The lady who was working (last night 19th)was so friendly, a credit to your company and made me feel at ease. Room was clean and spacious. I paid for the breakfast and all of the staff were very friendly, food was yummy and good value. All interactions I had with all of the staff were positive, I would highly recommend staying here. Stacey, the host, thought of everything that might be needed, from towels to teabags. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I'm already planning a return visit.”
