She will do her best to accommodate hours and days that are requested. She does have a key to ours, as I said I trust her, so this is also an option you can do , if and when you wish. She hates new people but loved him from first meeting which is incredibly rare. He is calm and patient and clearly loves dogs. She would sit with her nose at the front door waiting for him.
