“Very helpful and friendly staff my experience here was like no other, when I went to the bakery section one of the staff refused to leave me go unless she figure out what I really need, same in the cheese section and the meet section”

Whether it’s a cuppa and a piece of delicious cake with the girls (the rocky road and chocolate brownies are a particular favourite) or lunch with my daughter it’s so lovely to get a smile and a bit of chat from the team. The cheese scones are delicious, my daughter loves the cheesy oatcakes and you can’t go wrong with one of their specials.....especially a meat and potato pie. My hubby loves a good breakfast on the weekend too. It’s a family affair for us just like it is for the team there. They treat you like family.”

“I visited Tesco on Hibel Road today and I was fortunate enough to have been helped by a lovely woman named Ali. She was so helpful and kind. The Moneygram service is really difficult to deal with but she persisted until it worked. It was the kind of customer service we all wish for but rately get. That lovely lady deserves a raise & a holiday hahaha. Thank you Ali❤️”

“The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! Food is incredible, and the prices can't be argued with at all for the quality and quantity you get. It is always a fantastic atmosphere, regardless of how busy it is. An incredibly well-kept pub. Would recommend time and time again!”

“I absolutely love the Cornish pasty at this place, I live in Manchester, but whenever it is possible, my husband and I go to Macclesfield just to have a few.:) We have tried to find a place in Manchester that could beat this one, but no such lucky so far. In my opinion all sweets and pasties that I have tried are excellent. We haven't seat in to eat there though, we prefer to take it home. Enjoy!”
