Claire was very patient working with us on the design as it evolved and changed. We are really, really, pleased with the results and it has been a pleasure working with Craig, Matt and all the others who contributed. They were always cheerful and dealt pragmatically with issues and problems as they arose - and without making a drama out of a crisis. All very much appreciated and we can strongly recommend them to anyone looking to re-do kitchen or bathroom,”

“This is just to say a huge thank you to Ryan and Dec from Talke Pits B and Q, who went several extra miles when I came in asking for a discontinued charger to keep my McAllister screwdriver charging. My company teaches plumbing workshops to kids and without their help thirty ten-year-old children would have been without tools tomorrow. Dec searched high and low for the one remaining charger for a McAllister screwdriver (they’re now micro USB but I needed the old barrel type for my eight screwdrivers) until Ryan had the bright idea of checking INSIDE the power tool display. Lo and behold the right type was found and now I can teach my class. Thank you so much B and Q, these guys really pushed the boat out for me, and kept our B and Q purchases running a little longer. Much appreciated from me and the kids!”

“Really impressive design and selection process with a lot of options available. Tom was really helpful & presented us with options to work with both to match our taste and ideas. The kitchen itself is beautiful, fantastic quality. The team were on hand when there were queries with the fit (we used an independent fitter). Overall really happy with the whole experience and we now enjoy being in kitchen! The before and after pictures speak for themselves!”

“absolute treasure in centre of Buxton! (honestly nearly didn’t pop in but sooooo glad we did) ! Delicious matcha latte and THE BEST GF Vegan cake I have ever eaten: Almond and pistachio torte. Staff are lovely and friendly and (NB we called in to a Pudding Emporium around the corner to enquire if we could have a cuppa - got extremely frosty reception) so happy to have discovered Chakra longe!”

“Lovely little theatre - reminder of a world that no longer exists. Very basic and old school, but cosy and with comfortable seating. We attended a performance of the Wizard of Oz and were delighted. Even on the back row, we had a good view. Refreshments were very reasonably priced and staff were friendly. A magical experience.”

“I hadn't been to The Gatehouse since I was a child and had absolutely no memories of what it was like inside. It's fantastic!!!! It's only a small theatre, but it's lovely and open. The bar areas are really nice too. The Staff are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they all just really friendly and helpful. I need to start booking more tickets!!!”

“Wonderful place amazing talented people a diamond hidden in a small village, I have spent an amazing afternoon watching the talented people of Audley perform Robin Hood my grand children were so wrapped up with the magic they hardly spoke a word now we can’t shut them up fantastic and a very special word has to go out to Layla Norcup she is definitely a star in the making. Robbin hood was played by a very charismatic young man and a full cast of wonderful supporters.”

“When I win the euro millions this is where I'll buy all my furniture, carpets and home decor. Luxury furniture and homeware. Prices are well above the usual high street brands but the quality and craftsmanship is felt in every piece they sell. The shop itself is an old silk mill. A four storey building filled with sofas, dining tables, beds, carpets, rugs, home decor, candles, painting etc. You could definitely spend a couple of hours browsing. Cafe was great. Excellent service. Full cooked breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed by hubby. And my ploughman's sandwich was tasty and very filling. We also had large chunky chips that were fab. Breakfast until 11.30am. Brunch all day and mains from 11.30am. Free parking available. Staff were pleasant and polite. Great place to get some decor inspiration or to just pop in for something to eat.”

The young lady Holly was knowledgeable and eager to ensure we had every opportunity to try a number of mattresses before making our decision. She was very helpful and welcoming and made the visit a pleasant relaxed experience which then culminated in the purchase. I would happily recommend this store and products. “Fantastic service from start to finish. Toseph took our design and understood exactly what we wanted and came up with a couple of great extra suggestions. Delivery was efficient. Installation by Darron was excellent. Darron went above and beyond the norm to make sure that we got the fabulous kitchen that Tailored Kitchens promised. Darron sorted out our tricky extractor. On finding a couple of small parts had been damaged in transit Darron was straight on to the supplier to get them replaced before we even knew about it. Overall a great experience from a local firm, resulting in us having an amazing kitchen with a fabulous corner larder.”
