“What a lovely museum, with working water wheels and such friendly and knowledgeable volunteers! We arrived with about 20 minutes until close and Nick gave us the full tour with such enthusiasm and perfectly aimed to capture the kids imagination. Highly recommend this small, but perfectly formed gem. Also learnt loads we didn’t know about the local industry and entrepreneurialism from hundreds of years ago.”

“Got to say been staying at alton towers splash landing hotel and was looking for kebhab and chicken shish.... but most people say go to the cheadle kebhab place but looking at the cheadle kebhab reviews i said na not gonna try this kebhab shop.... instead we got it from BODRUM SHAWARMA and got to say... if your looking to get kebhab/chicken shish get it from BODRUM SHAWARMA there chicken shish is the best ive had around had it yesterday and today and is so nice the chicken shish with the bread they give you is very very nice also kebhab is nice too we got 1 large chicken shish 1 small chicken shish 1 large kebhab 1 small kebhab 2 chips All salad 1 diet coke and it come to £40 that included delivery to splash landing hotel”

“A charming and cozy little pub that feels refreshingly different from the typical Greene King franchise. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, engaging in delightful conversation that added a personal touch to our visit. The food was excellent – we tried the sharing platters and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and great value. The pub’s Christmas decorations were beautifully done, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made our experience even more enjoyable. This is easily one of the best Greene King locations we’ve visited locally, and we’ll definitely be returning!”

“The Hales Hall caravan and camping site is in Cheadle Staffordshire. It's a large site that provides both tent and caravan pitches. They also have the choice of 3 types of wooden lodges which looks lovely but they are limited to just a few. On this site they have a statley home which as a restaurant that you can book a table even if you are not staying at the site. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff. They have all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable toilets and showers blocks. This site is close to the Alton towers theme park and also a great place to stay if you want to explore some of Staffordshires beautiful walks and trials”
