“We visited here after a trip to a National Trust property. We parked outside here to go to a pub further up the road & expected it to be closed when we came back, but they were still open at 9.10pm. Which was very lucky for us! The staff were so friendly & the food was all delicious. We ordered mixed kebab meat, fish, steak pie, large sausage & large chips. The prices are very good & the portions are very generous. As it was near closing, they gave us a large battered sausage & 3 potato fritters for free. We mentioned that we were going to share the food whilst sat in the car, as we aren’t local & asked if we could have 3 spare trays to make it easier. They went one step better by giving us 3 trays & offering for us to sit inside at a table, as they still needed to do their cleaning. We gladly took them up on this offer & thoroughly enjoyed everything. Such excellent & friendly service. We will definitely return here if we’re ever in the area again :-)”

“We had a wonderful meal at Heath House Kitchen! The quality and taste of all the food is incredible. Lots of locally sourced food across all their seasonal menus which is great. The service was fantastic – the servers were so lovely and friendly, and really went out of their way to accommodate us wherever they could. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable.”

“Incredible place, everything we ordered was excellently cooked and felt of high quality. Service was really good, friendly and attentive. Only downside was a slightly lacking atmosphere on 7pm on a Thursday, a night they had a 3 courses for £33 deal on, great value though! Special shout-out on the fish du jour bouillabaisse, that was so good, as was the wild garlic veloutte.”

“The Hales Hall caravan and camping site is in Cheadle Staffordshire. It's a large site that provides both tent and caravan pitches. They also have the choice of 3 types of wooden lodges which looks lovely but they are limited to just a few. On this site they have a statley home which as a restaurant that you can book a table even if you are not staying at the site. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff. They have all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable toilets and showers blocks. This site is close to the Alton towers theme park and also a great place to stay if you want to explore some of Staffordshires beautiful walks and trials”

“I just want to say a big thank you to Margaret the owner of Peakstones inn everything was great. The beds were so comfortable to sleep. I had the most amazing sleep in my kids wake up in the morning. First thing they said it was this beds are amazing hah the service was 100%. Food was amazing The stuff was great. It made you feel like you're back a home. Big thank you to everyone. We will love to come back and stay again. “Our family met up with our in-laws from the North West, and this cosy restaurant was the perfect place for our birthday celebration. The presentation of the meals was amazing, and the birthday guests were treated to a lovely surprise cake! A special thank you to the owner, who kindly posted our daughter’s forgotten book back to us — such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their customers. We’re so grateful for their kindness and for making our evening such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!”

“Can’t comment on the rooms as we didn’t stay. We stopped at The Huntsman as we were passing through Cheadle on the way home on a Sunday and were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to the lodge with lovely festive decor. The Sunday lunch was a generous size and was delicious! Our children had a wood fired pizza which was equally as delicious. Sad we didn’t get to stay for dessert due to time constraints but would definitely recommend to anyone passing through.”

“Came in on the 29/09/25 around 13:30. Ordered a drink and a buffalo burger. Honestly best hot and spicey burger I've had in a long time. Had the same burger in other spoons and have been very disappointed. Who every was in the kitchen. They understand hot to make a burger listed on the menu as hot, HOT!”

“I take my Granddaughter every Xmas for a hot chocolate and cake. Our favourite thing to do. Xmas isn’t Xmas for us without a Moshi. Never tastes the same any other times. Our special occasion. Staff are very friendly and polite and welcoming. Absolutely fabulous.”

“To say the Sunday lunch was good would be an understatement. Plenty of meat, vegetables cooked the way I love them, oceans of gravy. The only issue was the impossible to open condiment sachets, but the very friendly staff sorted that out for me. Apple and blackberry crumble lovely. Will be coming back soon”

“Got to say been staying at alton towers splash landing hotel and was looking for kebhab and chicken shish.... but most people say go to the cheadle kebhab place but looking at the cheadle kebhab reviews i said na not gonna try this kebhab shop.... instead we got it from BODRUM SHAWARMA and got to say... if your looking to get kebhab/chicken shish get it from BODRUM SHAWARMA there chicken shish is the best ive had around had it yesterday and today and is so nice the chicken shish with the bread they give you is very very nice also kebhab is nice too we got 1 large chicken shish 1 small chicken shish 1 large kebhab 1 small kebhab 2 chips All salad 1 diet coke and it come to £40 that included delivery to splash landing hotel”

“Our favourite go to chippy a stone's throw away. Recently had Yorkshire fritters (small piece of fish fried between battered potato slices) on the menu. Although we're not in Yorkshire, I really enjoyed it.”

“A charming and cozy little pub that feels refreshingly different from the typical Greene King franchise. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, engaging in delightful conversation that added a personal touch to our visit. The food was excellent – we tried the sharing platters and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and great value. The pub’s Christmas decorations were beautifully done, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made our experience even more enjoyable. This is easily one of the best Greene King locations we’ve visited locally, and we’ll definitely be returning!”

“Moved to the area 7 months ago and yet this was the first time we tried the Red Lion in Boundary. Could not fault the place. Can't wait to go back!! Ambience, staff, decor, cleanliness and most importantly the food(!!!) gets 5 stars from me!! 2 adults 2 children and all 4 plates polished off. The taste and presentation was outstanding. The girls were lovely, thanks for a great experience!”
