“A cute little gem of a cafe to bring a little something to the village! Visited earlier this week as I’ve seen it advertised and thought I’d give it a shot, and what a treat it was!! Loved the cosy vibes upon entry, very friendly staff and an array of food options so you can try something new! The ladies on duty were super friendly and accommodating and made you feel very welcomed. The food was served and tasted beautifully and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and will definitely be popping down again soon even if it’s a coffee to go!!”

She was friendly and asked questions about my hair routines and listened to what I wanted . Very happy with the hair cut . The salon looked nice and clean and smelt great NO damp towel smell which is a big thing for me . Prices are competitive with other local places . Looks like I’ve found my new hairdresser..”

“Stopped in on a whim with my husband today for lunch…from the moment we crossed the doorstep we felt welcome at Lychgate. We ordered the parsnip soup with brown bread and tea for two. The soup was amazing; a hint of ginger and the perfect consistency. Bread was also delicious…from a bakery in nearby Rudge. We took ginger and sticky apple toffee cake slices home for later…so glad we did! If you’re looking for a lovely dining experience or just a beverage, somewhere off the beaten path, this is the place for you. Easy to park near it, too! Enjoy! We will be back soon!”
