We popped in on a Tuesday afternoon for a late lunch. Prices are excellent ! The food was really good. I was so impressed that they serve real chips. Most places just use frozen. Will be coming again very soon. Will recommend to others.
recently stayed at The Barns Hotel in Cannock and was really impressed. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-kept, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure everything was just right throughout my stay. The food was excellent – tasty, fresh, and great value. From breakfast to dinner, everything was cooked to a high standard. It’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do. Overall, a really nice hotel that offers great service, spotless rooms, and delicious food. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Cannock area!
A group of 9 of us went here for dinner this evening. It was the first time I had ever been here but it certainly will not be my last. The staff were all lovely and the service was excellent. The menu had a good choice of menu for lighter bites also. All of the food was cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and lots of nice nooks and crannies in if you wanted a nice meal out as a couple. Well done to all the staff of The Barns xx
The Barns, Huntington — Solid, Comfortable Stay Just finished a stay at The Barns and I’ve got to say, it was a really solid experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, the room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated — everything you’d want for a comfortable night. The shower in particular was excellent — powerful and modern. I didn’t use the restaurant for dinner, so can’t comment there, but I highly recommend Zanzibar, the local Bangladeshi place just down the road. Absolutely fantastic food (see my other review for details). Breakfast at The Barns was simple but pleasant — again, great service from the staff. All in all, a reliable, friendly stay. Would happily return.
Think an extra star should be added, we had our wedding here November 22 and the place is faultless, everything you think of “will they Do this or will this happen etc” they’ve already thought of it and the day went so smoothly considering the nerves of us both making sure everything went to plan. The rooms and suit were perfect and spotlessly clean. The food was absolutely stunning was way above my expectations! The compliments of people were high. The bar lads on the night were very polite and very helpful and quick.. if you’re thinking of getting married here then do so as it’s a very professional team and they know what they’re doing, even to the receptionists on the desk very polite and helpful, Thank You all at the barns that made our day special and thank you Bruce great guy.
The Barns Hotel and its restaurant are a favoured location for business dinners in the Cannock area. This has been my third time in 12 months visiting. On one previous occasion I also stayed at the hotel. As always, there were plenty of parking available at the hotel and it was easy to navigate to even though it was pitch black and raining heavily. The staff is warm and welcoming. The drinks at the bar are of great variety and will cater for the widest tastes from pale ales to wines and spirits. The menu offerings were competitively priced and dishes were well portioned. Majority of our party walked away stuffed like a Christmas turkey. The reason for the 4 star on this occasion is the lack of flavour in the meals I have sampled from the menu. The duck pate and the sizzling beef stir-fry on a skillet (no sizzling, or a skillet this time) were both on the bland side and did not meet the bar set during earlier encounters at the restaurant. This was regrettable, however the amazing cheesecake ensured I walked away reasonably happy at the end of the night. All in all I would still recommend this restaurant.
A very nice place to stay both reasonably priced and of a great standard. Rooms were clean, tidy and of a great standard. Check in was simple, and a great night's sleep. Great breakfast the next day. You will need the WiFi password which is standard with the room as the phone signal isn't great but this is not the hotels issue, just worth mentioning. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for a very nice stay.
We went to a wedding and stayed over for two nights accommodation was very nice. Rooms clean and fresh. House keeping friendly and room got cleaned on after first day. The venue where the wedding was was amazing one of the nicest places to have a wedding. The reception after was great good size room with private bar which had plenty full staffing. Food for the meal and the later buffet was outstanding. Fantastic venue and I would definitely advise people to look here for a special event
Wow definitely 5* The Barns Hotel is one of the best I stayed so far. The hotel was clean and had no problems. Staff are absolutely amazing & friendly, going out the way to help if needed. Friend Wedding event was perfect and it went so smoothly without any problems. Restaurant great service top notch. Keep up the hard work. Highly recommend 100% for events or just staying for night or so.
