Had an absolutely amazing time at Green Room! I have never been one to spend time in Leeds, but May made me feel so welcomed, and helped me with deciding which cocktail I should get based on my preferences, (it was a Mango Smash!). It was absolutely delicious, and would entirely recommend!

It’s alright in here, usually an ok night. There’s a short blonde girl working here however, in the basement on our visit last night, who we have come across a few times and her attitude leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. Asking my friend when serving him if he was “going to say please and thank you now” when I was stood directly next to him, he definitely did “say please and thank you” as he wasn’t raised in a barn and clearly she didn’t hear over the bellowing live music. Not the best look having misery guts like that representing you to be quite honest !

The place is a nice environment and the drinks were good, but our experience here was ruined by a very rude member of staff who thought it was appropriate to lecture me before taking payment for the cocktails I ordered. I was the only person stood at the bar, one gentleman was already being served next to me by a male member of staff. Whilst I stood there waiting for a considerable amount of time I witnessed the two female members of bar staff stood looking at their phones doing very little. I very politely asked the male member of staff if there was anyone else serving to which he politely responded and asked one of the girls to serve me. I was not rude, I didn’t mentioned anything about the fact they were stood doing nothing whilst looking at their phones, I simply asked very politely if anyone else would be able to serve me… anyway, one of the girls came over and took my order. She poured the drinks then decided to start her lecture on how rude and “snide” I was for asking her colleague if anyone else was serving. I was so shocked by what she was saying to me that I decided to leave immediately without paying for the 4 cocktails she had poured. I have managed several bars in my time and I know how it is. Staff deserve a time out, but the way they went about the whole thing was just simply out of order and ruined the visit for us. She was very entitled and I don’t expect to be lectured by a staff member when ordering cocktails at £12.50 a go. Unacceptable.

Went to green room yesterday for food, the service was great really surprised at the new winter menu but food was really nice. A blonde girl called Kerry made us feel welcomed and helped us all with drink options. The cocktails and music made it a good atmosphere

Harry & James were amazing. I thought I had lost my phone and they both helped me look for it. Turns out my mates had my jacket all along - they were happy to see me reunited with my belongings. I love them. Best bouncers in Leeds. Love u Harry & James xxx

Such a great find in Leeds! Good Coffee & great cocktails. Nice place to sit and work during the day & then move in to after work drinks. The rooftop terrace is such a hidden gem!

I went to the green room for brunch and was thoroughly disappointed. Our drinks came after we had finished our meal and our juices were so bad we couldn’t drink them. This place is overpriced and overhyped. I’m also disappointed that after seeing it advertised as a vegan bar before opening, it now has a full meat menu. I won’t be spending anymore money here!

When I visited this place the service was unbelievably slow, especially considering it was mid afternoon and wasn’t even that busy. The food was ridiculously overpriced for the portion size I received, and it was quite bland. We ordered fresh juices which they forgot to serve to us, and we had to ask if they had forgotten. We were served the juices after we’d finished our meal and when they arrived they were honestly inedible we had to leave them. On another note, I’m so disappointed that after all of the advertising done before opening claiming to be a vegan space, hyping up the vegan community and profiting on claims of being sustainable, it’s extremely frustrating that they have started serving meat. Feels like a total cop out. I won’t be returning.

Wouldn't go back in a hurry - my friend waited at the outdoor bar for a significant period of time only to be told she couldn't order a cocktail there (despite having a cocktail menu displayed) and had to go downstairs. When she went down, she waited a further half an hour with multiple bartenders ignoring her and serving other people who had to actually point out she was there first. The cocktail they made was okay but definitely not worth the money and would have rather gone elsewhere where they know a bit more about what they are doing. I ordered food, as did my friend about 20 minutes later. Her food came, but was missing parts of her order and about 10 minutes after this, I realised my food wasn't coming. I went down to speak to somebody about this and they said it had been missed off the order, and the same for part of my friend's order when she went down after. They did refund me which I am grateful for, however. I didn't get the festive vibe which they promote on their social media, and personally think the food, drink and atmosphere do not warrant the prices. Would rather go to Chow Down when it reopens!
