Lovely little family ran campsite, Warm welcome on arrival, Nothing seems to much trouble, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Stunning views from the field. Really good facilities for the price. Would stay here again next time

Small farm campground with a few pitches, for vans cars motorcycle & bicycle my travel mean. Super quiet & no lights pollution But the biggest thing is the owner heart

Beautiful scenery, lovely camping field, simple but perfectly adequate and clean facilities. Sam, the owner, is great, very friendly and informative. We did have to leave early as we had had a lot of rain, then a dry day with another full day of rain forecast and we wanted to pack our tent away dry. Just such a gorgeous place to relax, read, drink coffee, snooze, play board games. Simple pleasures. The calves in the next field were an absolute delight (I counted 8 of varying sizes). We could hear the Peacocks at Barlow Woodseats Hall, and lots of other birds, including Owls at night. We watched Swifts skim across the field. We had the place to ourselves most of the time too. We sampled the great food at the local pub The Royal Oak, and did try to go to Village Sunflowers but it was closed. Will hopefully get to Unthank Lane Farm again before too long, and maybe with better weather. It's just a 20 minute drive from home too!

Stayed here whilst on a cycling holiday. The host was absolutely lovely and gave us a lovely welcome and chat. Made to feel cared for with friendly advice about the local area, and even got offered the use of some bike tools! If you’re looking for a place in the area to camp, here is a brilliant stay :)

I cannot recommend this lovely site enough as a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It's a simple site, but the facilities are clean and well maintained. I've both camped and stayed in a yurt and both experiences were brilliant. The owner has purposefully limited the number of plots to 7 (including the two yurts) so no one is too close to another. Location wise, it's walking distance to a lovely pub and lots of walks can start from the site. Or many great locations are a short drive away. The site is really peaceful - in the evening you can hear the owls from the nearby woods. Plus the owner is lovely (we always have a nice chat)!

Fantastic little campsite. Open only in the summer months. Very spacious field with just a few pitches. Very quiet. Beautiful setting and lovely walks from the site. Simple facilities excellent for such a small site (one portaloo, wash station, and fantastic hot shower). Bell tents available for hire too. Peak District locations such as Chatsworth, NT Longshaw and Curbar edge just a few miles away.

We came across Unthank Lane on Pitchup. Great location, easy access to peak district towns, quiet back roads, zero traffic noise. Nice spacious plots. Good facilities, nice gas mains shower.
