Not clean and beds kept up with wooden posts under the bed. After one nite here i have left covered so badly in bites from head to toe that are bleeding so my only thought can be bed bugs as my partner is also got them..I feel so disgusting and in pain.

WARNING: UNSAFE AND UNSANITARY ACCOMMODATION. Our stay here was horrific, unacceptable and downright dangerous. This place should not be open to the public. As soon as we entered the room, it was clear something was very wrong: Sheets and pillows covered with brown and yellow stains, smelling of dirt and neglect. The mattress was a nightmare — springs sticking out, sinking in the middle, and covered in dark stains, mould, and even blood marks. Drawers contained old clothes and open food bags left by previous guests. The tea tray had dirty cups and glasses, clearly reused without cleaning. The walls and window frames were filthy, mouldy and peeling. The shower was rusty, stained and disgusting. And the worst part: the room was infested with bedbugs. After the first night, we woke up covered in bites all over our bodies, with visible insects and blood stains on the sheets. This is not poor maintenance — it’s a serious health hazard. We contacted Booking on the first night, and although they said they spoke to the hotel, the response was outrageous: they claimed they “meet minimum standards.” We will attach the conversation as proof. We were forced to leave early, losing one night of our stay, and had to spend an additional €90 elsewhere, after already paying about €225 for this booking — because it was impossible to sleep or stay there any longer. This property should be shut down temporarily and inspected by health authorities immediately. What they are offering is not accommodation — it’s a health risk and a disgrace. Photos attached speak for themselves. A revolting, unsafe and unforgettable experience — for all the wrong reasons. Upon arrival, the property already gave a terrible impression — the entrance was in poor condition, the handrails were loose, the carpet was filthy, and everything looked neglected. I have tried twice to post a review on Google to show how many bites I got after staying at this place, but Google keeps blocking it. They claim my photos are “inappropriate,” when in fact they simply show the insect bites all over my body — legs (quite severe), hands, arms and lower back. Nothing “intimate” at all, just the undeniable proof of how unhygienic and unsafe this accommodation truly is.

Room was awful! Dust everywhere and bathroom hadn’t been cleaned at all. Bed was so uncomfortable and you only got one tiny pillow. However, staff were lovely and it is 5 minute walk from King’s Cross. I wouldn’t stay here again just because of how uncomfortable and unhygienic it was.

Absolutely disgusting! I would give zero stars if I could! We left and booked another hotel as there was no way I was sleeping in that room, I have never seen anyway so filthy. I understand it's budget but there should still be a basic level of cleanliness.

Location not very attractive. Rooms extremely small, smelly and full of spots. Mattress was very thin you were sleeping on the frames and springs. Bed sheets were filthy with dust and black spots. Shower was small and leaking. After flushing the toilet there was a disgusting smell.

Filthy rooms with chewing gum stuck along the window sill. Cracked window pane, very drafty and noisy. We were given a code to get in after reception closes but when we returned, the door wasn't locked (lock was broken) so it did not feel safe! Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on and to top it off, the TV didn't work!

When we arrived to check-in it took ages for the receptionist show up. There was a number that we were supposed to call to do the check-in in case there was no one at the reception, but when you rang it was unavailable. At the end we waited for about 20 min. The room is bad, the carpet was wet and the bed is very dodgy and wobbly. I know it's a cheap stay, but wasn't expecting to be that bad.

The only good thing I could say about this place is walking distance from the stations , welcoming staff, clean bedding, towels and reasonable clean bathroom. The rest is less then disappointment. The wall and floor are damp. There is even visible mushrooms growing on the wall. I had better accommodations provided by the hostels. So provider Hamad should do something to fix it before he charge £100’s for the triple room in the basement again. As such accommodation could cause massive damage to customer health and not even mentioning the damage to building and his business.

All the reviews are 100% accurate. Do not stay in this place as they shouldn’t be able to charge for dirty, smelly, mouldy rooms that are worth no more than £5. We stayed here for a cheap place to stay but this place is NOT worth it. Entered the room that stunk of cigarettes. Bed had been used that much we was sleeping on the bare springs that was stabbing and poking us in every angle of our body. Dust and cob webs under the bed and in every corner of the box size room. Mould all over the windowsill. Very small tight room with no room to move or breathe. Hairs all over the bed sheets. Paint coming off the walls and marks and stains alongside it. Customer service was very poor. The sound of the underground rumbled the room every 2 minutes. Would not recommend!!!!
